Fit my convertible Recaro for my kid in the back, no problems. Side bolsters make it a little hard to get the kid in, but not too bad - just be patient if you have an ‘04, I hear the motors to move the seat are super slow. My ‘06 wasn’t that bad.

I have an ‘05, and this is a good suggestion. I think it checks all of the boxes. I’ve never tried to fit a car seat into mine, but I’m sure it would fit. (getting it in/out would be interesting, but there is actually room in the back seats).
