Didn’t see the 142nd FW (ANG, ORPANG, Portland Oregon).

Interesting... we’ve always been instructed that a crack in the propellent is a critical failure.
Nope. A crack in the propellent means that now you got uncontrolled burn ahead of the burn. It’s a bomb at worst, or the skin is going to be punctured leading to in uncorrectable condition.
If there’s a crack in the propellant, then it’s basically a bomb at that point. Once the motor is ignited, it’s all uncontrolled.
All up round. Rounds that are not serviceable by local troops. AIM-9X is a prime example. Anything that pops up during testing means it goes back into the casket and off for depot level repairs.
We test the USAF stockpile at 10% per year. Missiles get disassembled and components tested. AUR’s that can’t be broken down, get tested as complete units.
I don’t ride, always wanted to. Just never could pull the trigger, since I suffer from an illness of: what could make this faster? I’m dumb like that.
Had that happen at a Cars-and-Coffee... someone touched my as-yet-unfinished FFR Roadster. So, since it’s not finished it’s OK to touch? I’ve ingrained it into my kids, look at you want, but don’t EVER touch.
Young and living in an apartment, I had no place to really do mechanical work on my pride and joy, a 2006 GTO. However, my then-girlfriend, had a house with a nice clean garage that she parked her car in every night. So, I had this awesome idea to order a new 7.0L stroker shortblock to swap into it. I asked her if I…
Notice it doesn’t say the word “limit”. Oregon and it’s stupid “basic rule” BS.
Dependapotamus/Dependa:
Exactly... This is why Factory Five makes a killing on Roadster replicas, not everyone has 750k+ to blow on a toy.
Supposedly, during battle simulations used to test the ship’s software and hardware, the DDG-1000’s 16 million lines of code were so good at classifying and prioritizing threats in its environment, and making the right tactical decisions in real time based on those threats, that the whole system could be set to fully…
2 years of awful “Me too!” from Suzuki.
I’m not saying we cringe at it, but to us, serving is just something we *do*. It’s like thanking the line cook at your favorite restaurant for making you a good meal. I have taken lately to saying “thank you for your support”. We really do appreciate the thanks, but we’re (at least I am), fairly modest about our…
I’d say “kit car” like a turnkey-minus ala Superformance, vs a proper kit car that takes significant time (such as a locost or a FFR car).
Shiiiiiiiit... they also have a “redlight camera” type of thing:
It’s now 36-2903... doesn’t quite roll of the tongue the way it used to. I’ve had supervisors who wore mustaches way past what 35-10 allowed, and others that would write LOCs for not maintaining a uniform haircut. There are some famous exceptions though...
Someone might want to tell Capt. Allen (USAF) that his hair is out of regs... He’s got hair on his ears.
