You're reading into my comments things that I did not say, and given the force with which you are doing so, I am forced to believe you're doing it intentionally.

That isn't what I said. At all. o_o Like, not even close.

Can't be Easton. How would they have used the middle name "Bynorth" with Easton?

What is YOUR post doing in the grey when MINE is out here in the black? That's ridiculous.

I don't think it was wrong, and though it has upset people (and I certainly understand why), I gave the absolute best justification I could for it in the conversation with RO. The problem is that I'm now getting several replies every time I reload the page that are essentially saying the same things RO said, which I

Not your fault. Evidently it's a fairly common reading of what I said. I promise, my purpose here wasn't to try and prevent the discussion of male victims. I think that's every bit as important as discussing female victims.

    Nope. I'd like to run.

    One: Rich, coming from YOU.

Sometimes, articles are written in a way that suggests not just that female victims are more prevalent, but that their prevalence

    Sometimes, yes.

Please dismiss my comment. You've dragged it up to the top of the page where everyone who can't be bothered to read my arguments against RotatingOrange are going to keep hounding me and telling me I'm as bad or worse than an MRA. Just. Please. Please dismiss it.

    Okay, that's it, I'm done.

Okay, please read everything I just said to RotatingOrange.

Okay, one: I'm californian, we call everyone Dude.

    I completely agree.

In my opinion, it did not. Hence why I said what I said. I thought the way it framed the issue was either recklessly or intentionally trying to shove the female victims out of the picture. That was what I was complaining about.

That's roughly equivalent to talking to someone who's been mugged at gunpoint and saying "Yeah, I know how you feel. I got pickpocketed once," and then claiming THEY'RE derailing when they say it's not the same thing.

Oh, THIS is why you jumped on me in the other thread despite the fact I said that male victims should absolutely be getting more attention.

... Dude. Ally. I've been arguing for more attention to male rape victims for ages. Step off.

I completely agree that it's problematic, yeah. And I get your point.
