@ataggata: Hoboy, here comes someone else who thinks he has been appointed spokesman for an entire fanbase.

@Omnimon: I think you're missing the point. Of course game companies exist to make money. But great games don't come from a desire to sell units, they come from a desire to make great games. If your first priority is sales, then gameplay is going to come second. And that's everyone's loss.

@ninjablaze: I thought the camera was incredibly frustrating. Despite how punishingly hard the game is, I found it to be the biggest obstacle to my beating it...and fully enjoying it.

This does remind me quite a bit of some of the press coverage of Metroid Prime back in the day, when fans were still reeling in shock over the idea of the next Metroid being an FPS developed by some guys in Texas no one had ever heard of. I remember Miyamoto even released a statement essentially saying, "don't worry

@Robert: What if cats were made of airplanes and Spider-Man was pope?

@Madeira: And Nintendo has always been the most resistant company to that trend, using very minimal cutscenes in their games (and those they do include are usually without dialog) in order to focus on gameplay first and foremost.

Whenever I read that hammer inscription, I remember that one crossover where Wonder Woman picks up Thor's hammer and says, "'If he be worthy?' That's awfully subjective. How does one determine worthiness for-" and then lightning strikes her and turns her into WonThor Woman.

@N-Robes: I disagree. I had huge fun playing cooperatively in SMB Wii. Competitive was okay, too, but there's a real feeling of teamwork that's possible in this game.

@dead_beat: Oh crap! I just realized! This website is pretty organized! You get your posts organized by date and there are tags to organize the different stories! And it's run by an organization of video game journalists!

@erin.lamoreux: Because your average internet atheist is in middle school, has been an atheist for maybe three weeks, and will remain one for another month or so until he gets bored of it or realizes it's no longer bothering his parents. See below for all the examples you need.

@thenino85: Not quite correct. Obama was a community organizer, then a lawyer, and then a professor at the University of Chicago. Those are all private jobs.

So this is, what, the fourth time Mark Hamill has said he's never playing the Joker again, only to return to the role in a new project?

I'm thinking Eric Hirshberg's ego may be this generation's Jabba the Hutt: huge and ridiculous.

Remember in Marvel VS Capcom 2, SonSon had that one attack where she turned you into a giant peach and then ate you?

Man, Nintendo really had a thing for summer imagery back in the Gamecube days, huh? Not that I'm complaining. Wind Waker and Mario Sunshine are both amazing.

A girl gamer is not a tomboy, but she is a fan of Nintendo consoles, and she has a great selection...um...good selection...um....well, she's got Mario Sunshine in there, at least.

He might be a scammer, or he might be for real, but either way, I give the guy major points for sheer audacity. He's either really honest or really ballsy, and either way he gets props from me. Not 35k, just props.
