Background does not deserve that abuse either. It’s a job like any other job.

If a journalists asks who does the vfx in an upcoming movie then yeah you’re gonna get an answer. Especially if it’s a noteworthy studio doing the work. Trying to pretend that it’s not important because it’s a Universal studio is silly. Imagine if they kept the director and actors secret? Weird.

Played the demo and it’s just a bog standard platformer, nothing special and definitely not worth the full price. Should have been a budget game.

Movies do always tell which studio/director is making the movie though, so this analogy doesn’t make much sense since this studio is making all of the game, not just some obscure part of it.

You see how this whole article is structured, right? It begins - literally the opening sentence - by acknowledging this could be an “embarrassing gap in our knowledge”, then I repeatedly mock myself for reporting 23-year-old news throughout, and then finish by mocking us again by suggesting we’ll report on a Wii egg

Whether you have to return something isn’t necessary to define it as a “rental.” For example, you can live in a home “indefinitely” as long you pay the rent every month (it’s called a month-to-month lease).

So wait... rental stores let you keep your copy indefinitely?

running cover for billion-dollar companies? lmao

silence, bootlicker!

Of the 30.75 million unites sold worldwide, over half (18~18.5 million) were sold in the US.

Never mind. I’ve gleaned from other comments that you’re from UK. Carry on.

Do you also call the Nintendo Entertainment System the Famicom? Or are you just being a contrarian?

When asked for a response they replied

While I appreciate what Tears of the Kingdom did right, it frustrates me that Nintendo can release a game that’s so low effort in so many ways and people will praise the hell out of it. The new systems are fun, yes, but pretty much everything else about the game is as safe as possible.

Ok, but what about the ability to replay JJJ or Danika’s podcasts? It’s the one feature I really missed from the first one. I missed a number of podcast forever because I got too close go a mission/activity just as it started.

Guess I’ll be the first to say it today.

Given that art style, I imagine a certain mouse that’s about to hit public domain is gonna be in the final release

Unions are always the answer. Especially now where a max of like 4 companies run every industry you can think of. Unions level the playing field. Unions are the reason the US isnt divided up into 3 million company town fiefdoms. Unions are the reason your grandparents and your parents could afford to buy a house in

They’ve already done away with most of the stereotypes in the games, so probably just making sure the female characters are given more depth rather than just being either shrill or walking penis receptacles.

Yes that’s what happens when time moves forward in a linear fashion

Unfortunately, Nintendo has been a little indirect in its messaging about how Breath of the Wild and its sequel slot into the established chronology of Zelda, because according to producer Eiji Aonuma and director Hidemaro Fujibayashi, they take place at the end of the timeline, but which of its branching stories it
