It’s a policy question vs a legal question. The policy probably ought to be that a person has the right to fully license their own likeness, tattoos and all, without fear of copyright issues.

I’m a labor-side attorney, and all I want to point out is that redacted charge says nothing. Not because the charge has no merit. But because the charge is always boilerplate like that.
Half right. They can be issued for unindicted crimes or not-yet-convicted crimes (and even unconvicted AND vacated convictions (Muhammad Ali)). But they can’t be issued for prospective, not-yet-committed crimes. The act, or alleged act, must have already occurred.
The Court has no power except through its legitimacy. As it becomes more and more unpopular, it is seen as less and less legitimate. And that bolsters Congress, the President, the states to ignore it. A deeply unpopular Court is a powerless Court.
