I remember riding in my uncles Octavia wagon last summer, and while it's a little older now, it was kind of perfect. Refined design without too much fuss....and from the sounds of it without a lot of VW electrical gremlins. If they brought that here, it would be my daily driver.
Maybe not Rosie ugly, but definitely still ugly. But that's pretty much every BMW these days, not just this one.
Looks pretty fantastic to me. Refined and elegant, without any stupid over styled elements.
Amen. Company lost a little bit of it's magic.
It gets worse when there's also a perfectly awesome v60 out there too.
When the CEO of Porsche said that a cheap sub-Boxster would hurt Porsche "brand values"......right after they confirmed that they were going to be producing a baby Cayenne.
This is what the Panamera (or hell, Cayenne) should've been right from the start. Still looks like it could afford to lose a few pounds visually, but this is much better.
Totally agree. I just don't what's so great about a car that can only go in a straight line, and looks like a bloated box with boring lines. Have never been a fan of any of them.
Any car with an automatic/dual clutch transmission. I like to dream about things that I would actually purchase if I could, and that's not gonna happen.
I'm still waiting for that pesky PDK thing to go away.
Why are all these articles in the comments section??
Car looks fantastic, but if this car doesnt come with an MT, it's a giant waste of good design. Seems a little on the pricey end too....this thing should be competing with a Boxster, not a 911.
I just don't get it. Wagons are what set Volvo apart from the pack. Boxy, space efficient wagons is why my wife and I bought one. When it's time to replace our v50, there better be another option....it will be a cold day in hell before we buy a CUV.
Been there, done that. It might be crazy compared to the rest of US roads , but it's an easy breezy country cruise compared to many other parts of the world. That thing would be called an open field in any Indian town.
I know NYers don't realize there's life outside of the tri-state area (I know, I used to be one of those people), but Queens Boulevard, Pulaski Highway and Merritt Parkway? Seriously? Either you need to get out more, or qualify that by "in the world" you mean "in my world".
I'm a pretty effin big Porsche guy, but even I'd take the R8....as long as it came in a manual. It's just hard to beat the driving dynamics of a mid-engined car....plus the R8 is the most original car design of the last decade.
A nice little video of the Caymans running around SF and other fine spots....
Get rid of the ugly cladding, lower it, and call it a hatchback?
I'll be in my frunk.
