And this is the level of creativity and entertainment all ads should strive for. If they did, people would actually want to watch during commercial breaks. Sadly, this advert is better than many movies and TV shows.

What would I say? I'd say, "Hey, did the space shuttles get un-retired?"
Yeah, but is it *really* there? Do we know that? Maybe it's some illusion or a copy that sits in another dimension or other handy plot device like that. I was getting annoyed about it then I decided to wait until I learned more, either by watching the movie (preferred) or by reading about it (workable).
If we end up getting Anchorman: Dark of Ron Burgundy it's your fault.
Like most things, except perhaps binary, there *are* varying levels of intensity/devotion/whatever. Patriotism doesn't have to be over-the-top-blind, it just means one has pride in one's own country, often for good reason. It's not necessarily a bad thing. Just like butter, the right amount is great, but too much…
My whole family (just 4 of us) will accompany you...and the popcorn's on me!
I demand "Torchwood: Miracle Day - The Unexpurgated Version" available via some shady internet source immediately! Point me to a torrent or newsgroup and I'm leeching for dear life thanks to the "Bastards Of TV."
I like the cultural references, in-jokes and slang that I'm not familiar with. It encourages me to go out and educate my damned self! Too bad them thar TV people ain't got no damned sense...
The link brought me to "Page Not Found," but a search on the TED page for Pamelia Kurstin returns 4 results, the first of which I would assume is the performance you're referring to. And, yes, it's pretty amazing. I'll try to put a link here with TinyURL and see if it works.

Yeah, you mean like, "Wedding rings have the same effect on the human female" or something in that neighborhood?
I clicked because I was hoping the article would explain what "tee money" is, because if I want to buy some Doctor Who it looks like I'll need some.
Didn't you people watch LOST? Time is a frozen donkey wheel. Duh!
I'm with you there. I've always had trouble sleeping and felt if the day were about 25-30% longer I'd be fine.
Other than the obvious disadvantage of TNT being a cable network so anyone without cable won't be able to watch the show as it airs, I can only see advantages to Falling Skies not being on a major network. The majors rarely, if ever, seem to "get" science fiction and they're much quicker on the cancellation button. …
"French cuffs" immediately make me think they're furry and only used by consenting adults.
Where I live red beans (kidney) and rice is a staple dish. I've never once soaked my beans and changed the water, just put the dried beans in a pot, add water and cook the shit out of them. Never gotten sick ever and my kids will kill for some red beans. I don't know anyone who soaks their red beans, either. …
It looks like Ren Höek's bizarro-world counterpart.

LOL, I'm naming my next kid that!
