Meh, how well HER life is going or her PARENT'S? Cause life's gonna suck when she has to grow up one day.
True! But even if you don't have that to help you out, the small registry *should* give people the hint. I find a lot of people give cash anyway, just for the ease of it. We usually do!
I think asking for cash is rude (which is basically what a honeyfund is - also they all tack on fees so your friend's $100 "donation" is actually only like $90.) Etiquette would say that, if you want money (as most do!!) have a very small registry - some people really want to give a physical gift - and then let…
Can't unbang your mom.
Thanks (And to everyone else!) I wasn't trying to ignore responses - I read them all and gave them a lot of thought. I reached out to my ex tonight and asked if the husband had told the truth yet, because I couldn't wait any longer to tell friend. He texted friend and made it clear that things were about to get worse…
I really love Target's cardigans. They always have so many colors and designs! I only wash them on cold and line dry them and they then last forever. I only wash all my clothes in cold water and line dry anything at all delicate, actually. I
Right? I don't want to be that betrayer to her. She deserves better. I also don't want to tell her and she has an hour drive home after all emotional and charged - that's not safe. I'd of course offer her a place to stay with me, but I doubt she would accept. We won't be in her city soon either. Ugh.
So.
I knew a woman who once went to her ex's (former? she had no idea if he still worked there, the relationship had been over for 10 years) place of work in the middle night, got out sidewalk chalk, and wrote "I was raped by a man who works here." in front of the main entrance.
Oh public school. Sorry if I was unclear, I didn't mean to imply it was actually like a lesson point. We had to read a bunch of laws about sexual assault and other sex-related laws (no input from teachers at all) and that was one of them. It was a very weird one day unit in Government class.
I was a HS senior in 2001. Part of our "health" lesson was learning that raping your wife is legal in Virginia, unless you really beat the shit out of her while you do it. Virginia. America. I don't believe this is still the law (and honestly our texts could very well have been out of date in 2001). There are plenty…
I have never used Cetaphil, because I love Eucerin too much:
Are some of these pictures of their actual children? Because...yikes.
I was approved last week to take my Project Management Professional (PMP) exam for certification. Yay! I haven't had to study for shit in 9 years. Any advice, especially pertaining to the PMP exam? I am mostly doing this to get the letter behind my name so I'm more attractive as a professional when/if I try and move…
Eucerin fragrance free. It's SPF15 I believe and not greasy, doesnt make me break out, I've used it for years. Love it.
Check out Couch25k. There are apps for android/iphone and it will beep and tell you when to run and walk. It will get you to running a 5k (it claims in 30 minutes) in 8 weeks. Mine aren't near 30 minutes, but it's possible. It really eases you into running, though!
I believe you want to keep in our of direct sunlight and not in a bag if you're able (My mom stored mine in an empty closet at her house). She may have even left it in the DB plastic bag, and it was okay, but I wouldn't advise that. It only hung out for about 5 months so not as long as you've got.
I went to see Carol Burnett a few years ago. It was awesome, but there was a question and answer portion and I guess everyone has creepy fans, but you don't usually have to watch them interact with the subject of their creepiness. Lots of people requesting to come on stage and hug her. One person who got married on…
