Yea, they promise to communicate better everytime the sodium levels reach an all time high. I’m cautiously optimistic, but I won’t be surprised if they retreat to silence for months again.

It’s... promising. There are a few nuggets in there that are interesting.

I haven’t played AC Origins, but these hardcore quests seems similar to the Prestige Nightfall in Destiny 2. I think it’s something like only 10% of the player-base have even completed a Prestige activity. It’s only meant for those that devour content fast and need a real challenge (rewards outstanding). If these

I agree. I think it’s wrong to blame Activison here. Bungie isn’t owned by them, so as far as I’m aware, Bungie has made these missteps on their own.

I must have misremembered. I specifically remember Bungie stating before launch that weapon balance would come more frequently with fixed rolls. Seasonal changes are no different than in D1 with patches coming every 3/4 months.

D2 is in desperate need for quality of life updates to get myself and friends to log on. More so than a DLC drop.

That’s the Destiny cycle. Months of silence, then the promise of transparency. And it goes on and on and on.

How is lying to your playerbase not “shocking or nefarious”? Should we have expected this and just rolled over? I’m more shocked players are completely OK with these kind of practices.

Wait what. The games’ sytem isn’t telling players the exact amount XP they are gaining. That is most definitely manipulation. It wasn’t a bug but an intended feature to lie to players the amount of XP they are gaining and instead cut their earnings without them knowing.

Agreed. The game wouldn’t be as revered to me without such a sweeping score accompanying the art direction and atmosphere. It’s amazing.

That Bloodborne soundtrack when it kicks in...

Reminds me of how good The Division’s “gameplay” looked at its E3 debut.

The Live Team will improve the game greatly like they improved D1. I have faith.

I just wished the D2 team took all of the improvements the Live Team made on D1, so they wouldn’t have to implement basic features.

We need to go deeper...

It feels like a first step...

E3 2018, to show off 2019 games. Maybe we’ll see a platformer then since the big hitting franchises will be out or very close to release by then.

It doesn’t have to be about armor or weapons. The grimoire was an excellent way for hardcore guys to do side objectives to gain more score. It didn’t change the sandbox in anyway. Same for dead ghosts, strike specific loot and the collectibles they added in Taken King, calcified fragments.

The funny part about that post was that it was purposeful satire to get Bungie to fix the Nightfall faster. And it possibly worked? Hilarious.

Now that I think about it, could they not just disable emotes in PvP shortterm than outright cancel the mode for 2 weeks? They have the functionality to lock equipment, surely it could be extended to lock one specific aspect of the inventory.

Bungie also banned players that were DDoSing for 2 weeks. Can’t wait to see them back after this cancellation.
