they’re using VC $$ to undercut the market and drive everyone else out of business, after which the prices will be raised. VC hopes to make their $$ back via stock price.  it’s not hard to figure out this scam

Ah yes, because “every corporation that has existed since the invention of the corporation” loses a billion per quarter.  Sounds like wisdom.

With this move, MLB appears to be joining the “Nobody can say it” camp, which is an unwise but wholly unsurprising development

barack died when “hope and change” turned into “lets just give the banks a trillion dollars and not help anyone who lost their homes. in fact, lets give those banks your homes lol.” and hilary couldnt even beat trump.

I completely agree with your response. The only ones that faced the consequences for their actions were the pawns at Abu Ghraib (I’m not saying they didn’t deserve their punishments, because they most certainly did). Unfortunately, in our country’s history, none of the war pigs face the consequences for their actions

Running a poll before a primary is a lot like doing a mock draft immediately after a draft just occurred; it’s complete and utter bullshit based on little else than name recognition and wild mass guessing.

Biden will probably be the “electable candidate”. So was Hillary though, and how’d that turn our for us?

“We must defeat the Kaiser!”

Bernie and Biden are both too old.  Full stop.

When I was your age, in the 90s, my friends and I would drive to the game, and park in a free, “secret” lot in flushing meadows park that my friend’s grandpa taught him about. From there we would walk in across the bridge that accessed the LIRR station and the 7 line stop. We’d always buy scalped tickets on that

How was this patronizing? Is it because its two white guys telling a black guy to vote?

No, anti-voting ideology is slacktivism - it’s a means of signalling your wokeness that doesn’t actually accomplish anything. Voting, on the other hand, actually does change things - just ask all the Iraqis and Syrians who’ve died because of a war that never would have been launched if the right guy in 2000 had gotten

“Hail to the Redskins/Hail victory/Braves on the warpath/Fight for old Dixie!”

Moderately surprised he didn’t trot out some holocaust survivors to say they were fine with the slogan.

I went through 3 shut downs and an entire summer of being furloughed when I worked for the feds. It was the worst thing imaginable. Toss in being classified as “key and essential” and it meant working and hoping that it would end quickly. I feel so bad for the workers affected by this.

I’m a fed and was called in to work. For weeks, I was told that my agency had funding to pay me. Today I discover that my paycheck has not been processed, and I can’t do anything about it because technically the official pay day is the 17th. My management can’t or won’t tell me if I will get paid on the 17th. So now

To keep with the Beatles comparison, Jerry Seinfeld is secretly the Ringo of Seinfeld. He’s the only member of the cast you could swap with anyone and have mostly the same show, name and stand-up interludes notwithstanding.

THIS. Serena has also had a history of...questionable... conduct when she’s been losing.
