As someone who's been buying un-subsidized, unlocked devices for a few iterations now, it's about time. I'm sick of paying extra per month in my plan to cover all you cheap asses.

AppOps was removed from 4.4.2 b/c Google doesn't want it out in the wild.
I really like JBQ's take on it. It may not be perfect, but it's another tool useful for debugging the bugs with the human body. https://plus.google.com/11221887264945…
Is that Cornerstone? The thing that CM was going to merge in, but then didn't when Google told them no?
LOLOLLOLOLWUT??
I'm well aware. But the Shuttle was already in the pipeline when Apollo finally shut down.
Believe it. It's the result of 20+ odd years of Congressional ignorance of NASA, cutting their budget again and again, and never giving NASA the go ahead to actually build another man-rated rocket, coupled with the original stupidity of building the Shuttle, the epitome of the results of too many conflicting…
Interesting. I didn't really check out the shelves at the range where I live this past weekend, but when I went to the sporting goods store that's known for their ammo selection and was bare a few months ago for the common calibers, the shelves were pretty stocked, I could get .22 & .45 all day long, but there was…
Not really an issue anymore. You can get ammo pretty easily now. But it is still more expensive than it was pre-Newtown.
Still probably the best thing to have on you in the chance you're attacked/robbed/threatened with bodily harm. Radio beacons and Google Glass videos all assume you automatically survive the encounter.
Content consumers will not have laptops/desktops in the near future. People doing actual work will always need laptops, or something like the Surface Pro with a usable, tactile keyboard.
Some of the low power versions even let you build a laptop (or Surface Pro) without fans, which will significantly reduce the heft of the Surface Pro
That's ridiculous, but I bet it's the ferry's fault. AFAIK, Google publishes an API for these transit agencies to push their data into, and it's up to them to implement.
True, but I would hope that when you actually get there you can follow the signs, and re-route accordingly. Unless it's horribly counter-intuitive, which I suppose it could be as a government operation.
Really? They all confuse the hell out of me. But it's simple for me to roll into an unknown city, put in my two endpoints and let Google tell me how to use the transit system.
Then came Google Maps, rendering all of this obsolete.
Hmm, nice try government propaganda spreader. GTFO.
But you also end up paying for XBL. And an extra XB360 or two when the RROD. All in all, over time, your console gets more expensive.
WTF are you talking about silly peasant? My gaming PC is hooked up to my 5.1ch receiver and my 50" Plasma. I get glorious PC graphics whilst sitting in my lazyboy as well.
Nice try NSA pig. GTFO.
