For trolling, actually. You really added a lot to the conversation there "fucking idiot".

Read this the other night. I think it's pretty awesome how transparent Blizzard is being about their thought process, and design choices. More so than the Diablo team, or most other developers.

I'm sorry you think Blizzard makes bad games, but the sentiment that their games (which millions of people love) are making it impossible for developers to create something that YOU like, is retarded. God I miss ban mondays.

I'd rather it never come out than have a shitty movie made that isn't in line with Blizzard's standards.

The fact that Blizzard vetoed a script that Raimi and co had been working on for nine months actually makes me hopeful for this movie.

Great story, Holden. I too, would LOVE to see StarCraft on television one day, but I think Wheat hit the nail on the head when he said that networks could learn a bit from their model. TV is going the way of the dinosaur.

Just a couple million.

I'm sure it'll make sense when, you know, you actually play it.

You make it sound like they murdered your family. Don't buy the game...we don't care.

It's a complicated relationship. If my girl all of a sudden had that hair i'd be on edge too...

...or you could just play the game, find out what's going on and THEN make judgements off the actual product instead of a trailer.

How do you know it doesn't matter now? Have you played HotS already?

The close ups of all the awful, greasy, fatty snacktaku "foods" make me crave a salad. So thanks for that.

I'm sorry, but i simply disagree with pretty much all of your arguments. How is it going out of our way to not be seen as basement dwelling acne laden women haters? Because whether you believe it or not, that's how the general public see us. I truly think it's our RESPONSIBILITY as gamers to improve our imaage

We sure don't make it seem like a career path in games is appealing to women though, which is really my point. I really hate to say it, but cliches are cliches for a reason. What does the average person think a "gamer" looks like? What do you hear within 10 minutes of playing a game on Xbox live? What do some of these

Can I also point out, that people singling out Patricia because she's writing about womens' rights in gaming is not a healthy response.

I've always found certain institutions that tend to alienate women are the most dysfunctional. I may be treading on dangerous ground here, but look at The Vatican. Or certain extremist Muslim societies. North Korea, anyone?

I'm sorry, that Killzone demo was just not impressive at all. Generic first person shooter with an impressive draw distance? Big deal. Sorry if that's slightly off topic, but I'd happily take a shittier looking skyline in an interesting game over 'generic first person shooter x with impressive skyline" any day.

I tried to sit through an episode of "Girls" once. It just made me feel awkward, even as a viewer.

It's definitely a super weird process, but I can't blame developers for wanting to do anything they can possibly do to get people to pay for their game ASAP. The same kind of weird shit has been going on with music for years. Exclusive tracks, bonus content, DVD extras, making-ofs....I remember when buying something
