Stunning? I thought it looked like a generic FPS on PS3 hardware. That was literally one of the most boring parts of the entire event.

Maybe if there were more women game directors there would be women on stage at a Sony event. Isn't that the bigger issue? The headline sure made it seem like Sony was the big bad women-hating wolf here...

Interested to see how limiting the Auction House (Real Money and Gold) and other Battle Net features translate to PSN...if at all.

So in an open world envirnoment, are PS3 users going to be cut off from PS4 users? Does this ecosystem exist across both platforms? More questions than answers.

So here's something I'll never want. Ever.

...I worry about your health Fahey. I hope Gawker provides good health insurance based on the wreckage you're putting your body through with these Snacktaku reviews. Godspeed.

Shocking, right? Who would have thought that people who buy consoles want to play games on it? Mind blown.

I guess because my right hand floats between using the face buttons and using the analog stick? Seriously though, hold your hands out as if you were holding a controller. See which way your thumbs naturally want to position themselves. It just has always felt uncomfortable for me.

I get that this console is launching with a library of Android based games already...but the problem I have is that most of these games are not the kind of games I want to sit in front of a giant television and play.

For the love of god, swap the D-pad and the Analog stick positions. I hate having to awkwardly point both thumbs downwards every time I hold a a PS controller.

Because the most prudent gun nuts have the loudest mouths, and they think that ANY further regulation on their constitutional right is going to lead to the government taking their guns away. It's asinine, for sure, but especially with a Democrat in office that most gun proponents (the NRA) dislike, it's easy to

This is a VERY interesting piece. Mandatory Kinect seems like more of a way for Microsoft to monitor me and the people in the room than a potential gameplay mechanic.

C. People who don't base the purchase of a computer on playing games, but do enjoy them occasionally.

Yeah, I don't think Valve is discouraging good do-ers by not telling 50 million people there was a security exploit that they fixed in 3 hours. If anything, that was a smart, responsible decision if you ask me.

Obviously some kind of viral site for HotS. Sounds like the same kind of research Jim Raynor stumbles upon in the "secret" mission in Wings of Liberty. There's no way this is how they'd tease project Titan (which they've said is a new IP) and there's also no way there's already going to be some kind of SC spin off

I don't really buy used games but this is BALLSY. I guess they're looking to appease developers more than customers. If this is all true, I wonder how many potential buyers they're alienating.

I'm glad I read your comment. You nailed it when you said that it's more about seeking accomplishment, and self validation than drawing a parallel to sexual preferences. I think this editorial is QUITE a stretch. Saying that some people who play Dark Souls like BDSM is like saying that some people who play Bejeweled

So do you folks think this is a holiday release? Announce it now, make it playable at E3, and launch in November? Where the hell is The Last Guardian if there's new hardware on the horizon?

Don't you think a solitary experience lends itself to more scares innately? Being alone in a complete biological disaster is much more terrifying.

Exactly. Isolation lends itself to feelings of horror and suspense. Throwing an obnoxious AI, or player controlled character in there with you just turns RE into a bad action game with zombies.
