I was a huge fan of the fact that Nolan lets information trickle down to the viewer at a controlled pace. You only ever know exactly what he wants you to at exactly any given moment. I was constantly asking myself questions, which was a good thing.

@Nethlem: I'm not sure if you need two copies of the game, just two battle.net accounts. Even if you did have to buy two copies, I doubt that squeezing an extra $60 out of a few pro players was part of the business model. I think it has more to do with latency and lag issues for cross-continental play.

@mizeriq: You should acquaint yourself with sarcasm, my friend.

@mundox: Of course. We're ALL egotistical, obese, uneducated, and geographically challenged. *rolls eyes*

@Asbestos_Underwear: That's certainly an issue. A lot of pro players have multiple accounts on different servers just to be able to play each other. Hopefully there will be a solution down the line.

@NoelVeiga: By all means, wait it out if you're unsure about it. But if you want to take the opinion of one random guy on Kotaku, there is plenty of meat on the Starcraft 2 bone, seemingly. There is not a subscription model, except for small downloadable iterations (I think) in certain regions. This model is

@Gameslaya: I'm a fairly new Brood War player too, man. Give it a good amount of time. I only played the original about two years ago, for the same reason you did. The story line is absolutely fantastic. It's worth playing just to know what happens. Maybe you'll get the multiplayer itch, and maybe you won't, but I

@thefloodgod: I don't know man, there are a lot of Brood War players that haven't touched a video game in years, that I personally know are drooling over this release.

@Kakkoii: Why do you care if WoW dies? No one is forcing you to like, or play it. The success of that game is ensuring projects like Starcraft 2 will have high production values.

@NoelVeiga: There are lots of people (for some ungodly reason) ignoring this title.

I don't really think about it, really. I mean, there are lots of pieces of entertainment that I want to take in. I just want to experience the best of it all; books, film, music, games, food...

Wow, that truly is a gorgeous painting.

@Hongo: It's fine, they'll just delay it, per usual :)

@Ace: Totally. I have very very few gaming friends.

The photo isn't as impressive as the fact that the man with the sparkler was able to draw a pretty symmetrical batman around his friend. Even the perspective is pretty dead-on. Awesome photo though!

@XeO3: My top half looks good as new...the bottom is totally baby-shit green/brown

@Bawb - The One, The Only, The Builder: Me too man, it's almost PAINFUL to have it sitting in between my current-gen consoles, out in the open. Its SO discolored. Like someone had vomited on the bottom half of it.
