I don’t know if any other of the old folk up in here watch 70s & 80s game show reruns on BUZZR, but Siebert was on the episodes of Super Password they were showing a couple weeks ago. He was the very model of “where do I know him from?” after Trapper John, M.D. ended.

Glad he beat out Connor Lamb. I was happy to vote for Lamb when he was the only option in the special election a few years ago, but the guy is basically a Republican pretending to be a Democrat. We don’t need another Manchin/Sinema in the senate...

What’s funny is that CNN spun off a separate network, HLN, for exactly that reason. But now it just shows garbage docuseries and true crime stuff. Now to get that, you have to go to CNN International, which is a paid subscription.

Really? that’s the take you are going to go with?

Ahh yes, the really privileged people are the ones who owe money for college. Nice try, Mr. Great lakes.

He should do the $10k then. I don't know if you noticed, but he's not doing that either.

So what you're saying is that when a moderate adopts progressive policies during his campaign, we should just know he's lying and not expect anything beyond "not being Donald Trump"? Because I'm not sure that you've got a long term strategy there...

It’s a wildly popular position with broad support among voters that would measurably make life better for tons of people. ... So obviously it’s a real head scratcher for Dems.

I am extremely confused at this. It isn't new that there is 5 oceans. I wasn't taught that but my college age niece has. My grade school daughter has. This is as new as Lost is new.

What the hell is going on, why are Americans acting like this us a new thing. This news is literally 20 years old. I know the stereotype is that people from the US are bad at geography but come on...

At least to babies. It’s fallen out of practice in much of the developed world and some European countries have been discussing banning the practice on children. The US is still a tad behind the times.

Cutting penises is not OK, so this is good news.

He had small cell lung cancer. There is no known way of catching it early enough to make a difference.

It was actually a combination of things. The biggest one was Adobe management fucking up all the work Macromedia did by just bugfixing the bugfixes instead of refactoring everything like Macromedia did every few years. Flash 1-8 were all massively different internally but all had backwards compatibility. Games always
