Ahh yes, the really privileged people are the ones who owe money for college. Nice try, Mr. Great lakes.

Here’s the thing: you don’t get to say “it’s the sanctity of My Personal Home, how dare anti-discrimination regulations violate this” on one hand, and “my home is a business, gotta get that paper” on the other hand. If you don’t feel comfortable abiding by the same laws and regulations as hotels, then stop using AirBnB…
He should do the $10k then. I don't know if you noticed, but he's not doing that either.
So what you're saying is that when a moderate adopts progressive policies during his campaign, we should just know he's lying and not expect anything beyond "not being Donald Trump"? Because I'm not sure that you've got a long term strategy there...
No, it’s not. I don’t push the technology as a graphic designer/trainer, and 16gb of RAM is borderline insufficient for day in, day out graphics production work.
It’s a wildly popular position with broad support among voters that would measurably make life better for tons of people. ... So obviously it’s a real head scratcher for Dems.
Back in the 90s, I was the book signing coordinator for a regional chain bookstore and Anne Rice was one of the people we got to come around the time that Memnoch the Devil was released. Most of the bigger name authors who came acted the part, not particularly friendly to (or even willing to acknowledge) our staff.…
Anyone who didn’t think Elon’s first love would always be his work, reeeeally wasn’t paying attention. The man’s a flashing set of hazard lights.
What we need are better resources and diagnostic options for autistic adults. The research expanding the knowledge at the child and early diagnostic end is great, but the more we as a society learn about autism the more obvious it is that it doesn’t just evaporate once you graduate from school. It’s great that…
Yeah but it’s not funny - they have their own enforcement arm where their cops show up, kick in doors and cut locks, and haul away syrup if they think the farmer has harvested too much. It’s nasty. :-(
I guess there are people who actually have to have it quickly, and perhaps even via a pre-release channel. Not being one of them, my attitude toward a major version update of any OS, or even an app crucial to my work, is that “the second mouse gets the cheese.”
Worth noting mind that Bad Wolf Productions would have access to overseas funding, too. Wouldn’t surprise me if they’re able to further raise funds on top of the BBC dollars.
Unpopular opinion: license plates should just be a high contrast simple background color and foreground letters/numbers/symbols. Slogans, graphics, patterns, or anything beyond the basic state name, vehicle-specific identifier, and registration status (if applicable) is unnecessary and shouldn’t be there. It’s a…
I personally think most modern license plates are ugly. I prefer older designs that usually went with the “less is more” philosophy. I live in Michigan, and are standard plates are fine, but I still think our old white on blue plates were better.
Some people still may think “Why humanity needs fusion power? Why not just use solar & wind power etc?”
IMHO, humanity definitely/absolutely needs fusion power, because it could really take humanity to a whole new level (which cannot ever be done using solar & wind power etc)!
For example, titanium is an extremely…
I respectfully disagree.
Sometimes subjective opinions are still wrong.
Going to lean in here and make note to anyone reading that the biggest criticism of this game is an entirely subjective one.
In most cases - both in the classic series and the revival - it’s been the former. A notable exception is Colin Baker, who was fired. It seems as though people are tending toward the Troughton Plan™, leaving after three series; Peter Davison explicitly said he only did three series upon the recommendation of…
I wouldn’t be so quick to let it off the hook. I feel that the general mistrust of doctors and medical professionals is at least partly caused *by* the USA’s terrible healthcare system. When you have an entire industry champing at the bit to bankrupt you at the first sign of unhealth, it’s going to make people…
