People died, guy... and we’re pretty lucky that it wasn’t significantly more people.

Goldeneye was decent, but it’s plot is too weighed down in lingering Cold War elements (which don’t date well), plus the music is...weird for a Bond movie. I much preferred Tomorrow Never Dies than the other two. TWiNE is paced really badly and Robert Carlyle’s villain felt kinda flat to me. But it did have a good

Yes! 4K from 1080 was a noticeable improvement, but it wasn’t compelling to me, in the least.

I think the intense Britishness of Doctor Who has always been an essential part of its charm for American fans

I worked for a game studio during the Farmville heydays.

The game designers lamented that they had to work on “brainless, unchallenging click fests” and not *actual* games for their career. Every time they wanted to do something “fun” they were shot down and told to just iterate the whole click/wait/click mechanic.

Not perfect, but damn, Sassy Justice does a bang up job of making it look pretty real.

As someone who worked almost exclusively in Flash during its heyday, I wouldn’t be so bitter about its death if something comparable replaced it.
For those of us that really knew how to leverage Flash for all it was worth, we could create some amazing and truly immersive experiences that ran flawlessly.

I was watching video of YouTuber Tom Scott’s talk at the Royal Institute:

Obligatory whenever he is mentioned: Fuck Anish Kapoor.

Houston accused Lentz of “general narcissistic behavior, manipulating, mistreating people, I think sometimes other hurtful things, the breaches of trust… constantly lying.”

N64. Hear me out.

There is an apparent bug in Big Sur that shows your battery needs servicing on some MBP. Even on newer MBP that are a few weeks to a few months old. Has happened with mine and others throughout the Beta. Still no fix for something that definitely should need no fix... This is from a newer MBP.

How much is a standalone BR player these days? If you are going to have this hooked up to your movie watching TV, it seems fiscally prudent to get the disc version so that it’s a full service electronic.

I didn’t think that Hillary was going to win and I didn’t trust the polls. This is not because I am smarter or politically savvy in any way whatsoever. This is because I kept in touch with my “disenfranchised” (lol) hometown. What was incredibly fucking annoying though was when everyone in my super liberal city

Opposite take: I dig it. They’re realistic, down to Earth designs that are still aesthetically pleasing. They’re not overstated or flashy, but still come together to be recognizable. It’s actually one of the main reasons FFXVI looks interesting to me, tbh. I’ve been so used to seeing swords that are half car engine,

the writers/show runners just don’t seem to trust that there can be a compelling show about mostly good people from a mostly good society confronting a troubling problem. It just seems like for whatever reason writers think that people aren’t interested in smaller stories anymore. It can’t just be about someone

If you get an unlocked model and pop your sim in, you should be just fine to use 4G LTE, no plan upgrade need. Down the line if you want 5G, you can switch to a new plan at that time.

I loved every single moment of this show, it is a fantastic story rich in themes, ideas, characters and mysteries. Along Devs this might be my favorite show of the year. Can’t wait for season too, I hope it comes sooner than later with the pandemic stuff in middle.

If you came to the television expecting hard sci-fi or an Aliens TV series, sorry. Next season isn’t going to be a completely different show. I’m just fine with it. The show is science fantasy of the best breed. It’s a show told in the narration of the children so it makes sense that there’s no great explanation for

I’m kind of shocked to see so many mixed reactions here. I thought it’s one of the best tv shows we’ve had in a long time. The acting is also extremely top notch.
