To expand on that idea, a large group of Jedi, from an outer rim planet were likely leading a band of refugees away from a malfunctioning droid army. Allowing their ancient mysticism to guide them to a spiritual home called Earth. After many battles and long hardships in space they arrive and decide to settle our

Oh Hell yeah, and little Ani asking Padme if she's an angel.

There was also the Outbound Flight project, which was supposed to go extra-galactic. But for reasons like an agent of Sidious working against it and being overseen by a huge prick of a Jedi Master, ultimately didn't make it past the Unknown Regions of the galaxy.

Humans are quite energy efficient specifically our movement, the controlled fall that is walking/running uses much less energy than the faster movement of four legged mammals. Bushmen in Africa will hunt an antelope by running after it at a constant pace till it can no longer move due to exhaustion. The Bushmen have

You're probably thinking of Outbound Flight and Survivor's Quest by Timothy Zahn.

More than the use of "Hell" what about the use of "X" "Y" and "B" in X-Wing, Y-Wing, and B-Wing. Obviously they're using the English alphabet. So I guess since it was a long time ago, they introduced the English language? Maybe they came from across the galaxy to do it though.

You're probably thinking of Outbound Flight. Jorus C'Baoth took a bunch of people and Jedi to scout and colonize worlds. It didn't end well.

Hell? No. There are reasons for non-Judeo-Christian Hell. Totally convincing reasons which weren't invented to cover up a real-world reference.

And a NASA team working on a holodeck!

Honestly, I'd love to see a Star Trek anthology series. Call it "Federation Space" or some such. Get great SF writers and let them tell the stores they want to about the Start Trek universe. If any of those stories / characters resonate strongly with the audience then they can be spun out into their own series

I would rather they go in the direction of high philosophy instead of more eye-candy action dribble. We need Star Trek style court drama that has submarine battle style action. Ala "A Few Good Men" mixed with "Hunt for the Red October", etc. We need Drama, not sugar covered shit.

We have history of these themes in the

Or better yet, give me a new Trek TV series.

God they didn't even wash Anakin's wounds before putting him in the suit. All that scabs..

I'm Bristolian and I drink in Blackbeard's (possible) old watering hole, I'm absolutely certain that Blackbeard sounded like an old Bristolian.

Fair enough- it's not all so strong here but in some parts....Yeah I've heard it enough to know it :P

Yeah, because no such thing exists in Australia.

'ampshire I'm guessing? :P

Cider; There is always cider.

It's not a stupid question at all. But, in order to burn methane, you need oxygen. (Or something very much like it.)
