No, none of this has ever been mentioned in previous lore. Seeing as how it seems like a big deal...you figure it would be right? The story makes zero sense...Nords, Argonians, and Dark Elves being allies? HAAAAAAA...no. /nerd

They've made the occasional nod to existing lore, but most of it has been made up for the game, to the chagrin of many fans, since lore is one of the Elder Scroll series' strongest points.

While it's not following the lore exactly to the letter, I wouldn't say they're butchering it. It's set during the Imperial Interregnum after the fall of the Second Empire. The Interregnum is a period of around 400 years that is talked about quite a bit in ES lore, though the exact details of that time are sketchy

There is some "remodeling" done, but not a big difference, a lot of people seem to forget that this takes place a 1000 years before Skyrim and some of the books in other elder scrolls games describe cities another way than shown in the game.

I think Kinja ate my post, whatever.

It's all Zenimax, Bethesda aren't allowed to be involved in this tragedy, at least to the extent they can stop it, otherwise they wouldn't be twisting it all round like this. They are basically shitting all over the lore, referencing people from the future and dropping every name they can.

I can't really say as I am not following ESO. But I will note, word around the nerd block is, ESO is butchering TES lore so that the MMO can make sense.

A lot of UK ISp do this now for some sites but Google Piratebay Proxy and you'll find a site that you can get the files from.

So the fact that Kirk did post this doesn't serve as a paradigm shift for you?

I'm pretty sure some of it has to do with the absolute toxic community that YouTube has. Every time he posted a video review or gave an opinion on something that people didn't like the masses would insult him every way they possibly could. I'm sure it was a much different experience going from TV where the

You know what? I think someone should organise a regular female game industry summit of some kind. I'm sorry if that sounds like segregation, that's not my intention, please hear me out!

So we have this female game industry summit - all women working in the industry, at any level, get automatically invited. Here's the

You mean humanoid Midna? If so, then nothing yet.

Fun Fact: The street that Emirikol The Chaotic is rampaging down? It's an actual street, that actually looks like that. Lemmie see if I can find it....

Totally. Now-a-days I love Halo, but back when Halo 3 came out I had an irrational aversion to the series (yay fanboyism :P) and I still got goosebumps from the Halo 3 reveal trailer. And of course there's the live action ODST trailer.

I changed my avatar to Connor from that game that shall not be named. Let's see what happens.

You have no idea how much I loathe that I can't edit my post to include ac3.

I have too many favorites here.

Does a game that breaks free from the stereotypical white male protagonist as a pathetic default excite us? YES. Why? Because it shows that they actually thought for a second about who the character is instead of going: it's some guy, and he's a badass. Because it is more interesting when games are about people that

Please don't suck please don't suck please don't suck..

I don't understand where the confusion is coming from. Did you read my article? I'm totally in support of the amazing projects and opportunities for people to get their ideas realized that have come out of Kickstarter.
