I was discussing this the other day...with Molyneux at the helm to spout out everything he wants in the game (which is then taken as gospel for being in the game), it could do really well.

But I was hoping more for a single player experience again...or a better co-op experience.

The main things I want for a Fable game

What does a fandom AU crossover have to do with the creators?

But hey, here's something...imagine if Jesse went in to Witness Protection at the end of BB, decides to buy up a garage and do street racing on the side? Dada, BB NFS crossover!

That's point of AU crossovers...it's highly unlikely, often has the flimsiest of

Given that I recently discovered that I do actually enjoy the Fast & Furious films...I'll reserve judgement on this one and see what it's like when it releases.

Don't suppose you have a version of the gif without the yellow review circle?

I don't understand what you mean b "simulation-focus" ?

But yes, I think PC probably would've worked better for the series...I have a feeling I'm just repeating what you said in more words and less technical ways, but I think the consoles seriously limited the scope of the games, though Lionhead tried their hardest to

What do you mean "another remake" ?

This is the only remake.

Fable: The Lost Chapters wasn't a remake of Fable 1, it was a "Director's Cut" much in the same way Resident Evil 1: Director's Cut and Resident Evil Rebirth are not the same thing.

It's a remake...so realistically it's not "another" fable game, it's the best in the series redone to look and play better.

But, as it is, with Molyneux no longer at Lionhead there's a chance the Fable series will get better now (or, at least, we won't notice so much as we won't have a dude desperately in need of a PR

Started doing another playthrough of Fable 2 recently. Almost at the point where I own every property in Albion...

Main reason I started another game was because my original save got corrupted (I could still play the game, but I couldn't attack anything...so I was just running around the world doing absolutely

I just caught myself up on Breaking Bad.

I watched Seasons 1 & 2, then got distracted through Season 3 and didn't watch much of it.

So on Tuesday I sat down with the boxed sets and got through Seasons 3 & 4, and the current lot of episodes of Season 5 in about 3 days. It made my eyes hurt, and my arse.

But damn was it

Yeah, ok, you definitely need to finish the series...for...reasons...

For many, many reasons...

FFFF.....

Dumbledore was born is 1881.

The HP books/films are set in the 90s. So Dumbledore is in triple digits at the time of the first book/film.

There actually seems to be a seemingly large number of characters in the universe that are able to get to high ages...and this could be for numerous reasons. I mean, the healthcare

Vin gets better toward the end, and the payoff for reading the trilogy is more than enough.

Seriously, it's really really worth finishing the Mistborn trilogy...

It's stated at least once in the books (and I think possibly the films) that "muggle" tech tends to not work, or malfunction, in places that have a lot of magic.

And since the wizarding community is quite close-knit (Schools, entire villages, huge hidden areas of major cities), there's always a lot of magic happening

Huh, day before my birthday.

But yeah, Half Life 2's release is basically what put me off of Steam for so long. I bought it on release, I had been anticipating it for...as long as everybody else, I'm sure.

Got it home, started the whole installation process, everything got borked. Shitty internet connection probably

Chances are, if you're investing in a PS4 it's unlikely to be for innovation and more to do with the games on offer. Same for any console really.

While you may only be interested in the Indi games, there are still plenty of exclusives for any console that people will want that console for.

So, sure, they could just

Sorry for the late reply to this.

Yeah, I just managed to grab myself a copy of the original paperback, which is awesome. I figured the newer one was just a reprint with a new cover, but didn't entirely want to risk buying something that had more links to the new series :p

I am aware of that ;)

I grew up with a SciFi fan as a mother, in the UK. So Doctor Who, Daleks, Blake's 7, and numerous other traditional UK SciFi are a good part of my media diet.

Though I now wonder if my mother knows of the original novel for Survivors...which I have now found is going cheap on Amazon.

Huh, fascinating. I'd always figured the show was just it's own thing. Will definitely track down a copy of the first book at the very least. Cheers for the info.

I wasn't even aware that there were books. I'll have to look for those.

I've only ever watched the original show (and the ok to average remake), and the first series was the only one I liked.

A game set in the world of Survivors, or something similar, would be amazing though.

Seems interesting, my interest is piqued.

I'd love to see it in motion though, so see how it actually works and what the gameplay actually is.

It'd be nice to see people delving in to other types of apocalypse/post-apocalypse scenarios for once. As much as I love zombies, or nuclear war/fallout-esque wastelands,
