What I liked about Resurrections was that, unlike a lot of belated sequels, it didn’t undo the victories of the older movies. There has been peace between humans and machines for decades, and some of the machines are part of the humans’ culture. The villain is a new kind of enemy, not the old one in disguise. Even

I don’t think you got the gist of this topic - they aren’t making you subscribe to P+ like they did in the US and Canada, they are just pulling the shows, period.

In some countries P+ will be available sometime next year, but in the majority of them there are no plans to launch it at all. They are literally going from

I’m sitting here laughing my head off. This is such a stupid idea.

Dude.

company expects to launch Paramount+ in just over 20 countries, “

I like Discovery enough to watch it on Netflix but I don’t like it so much that I’d add a 4th pay for streamer to my current subs.

Disney+ in the UK is probably the best value right now because it’s actually Disney+ and STAR as well, providing the shows I believe the US viewers have to get Hulu to watch.

Amazon Prime is

He’s supposed to be 15 in the books, eventually reaching 19 by the end of the first novel. Ferguson is actually about the right age for that, if you assume that Jessica became Leto’s concubine in her early twenties or late teens. Same for Oscar Isaac at 42 - he’s old enough to plausibly be the father of a teenager.

With quality this good, a Richard E. Grant Loki would be quite a thing.

We need to be friends, then. Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves is right up there with Back To the Future as “movies that really, really influenced young me,” and I regularly love to open the door, shout “No more beggars!”, only to close it again.

I drop that line from time to time (Allah loves wondrous variety) and no one - NO ONE - ever picks up on it.

I’m loving the reviews I’m reading so far. It’s got a 99% on Rotten Tomatoes, with 73 reviews at the time of this writing, and its only rotten review’s summary is as follows:

The thing with him and his daughter was about as believable as wallpaper.

Well, more sad.

I assume he was trying to give the whole scandal a wide berth, and (if he’s to believed,) needed to go therapy and put in the work. ‘How soon is too soon?’ and ‘how long is too long?’ to return, speak again, address, etc., are not questions can be answered to everyone’s simultaneous satisfaction.

If some of the people he fights along the way aren’t Dean Cain, Tom Welling, Brandon Routh and Tyler Hoechlin then it’s a real missed opportunity

Leftist Jew weighing in, because I’ve found that I’m not allowed to state my beliefs without reminding everyone of my faith (which is strong and which compels me to stand against apartheid). I see no one who wants her to say that at all but given the fact that historically she has been supportive of some abhorrent

Most of Chamber of Secrets was rather forgettable, but this here is why he was the perfect casting for Gilderoy Lockheart.

He’s so full of himself in the ways that work best, and when he’s restrained too much you can tell (I really don’t like him in Tenet for that reason). His stage work, specifically, is what sells this for me. He’s outstanding on stage and understands actor driven performance in ways that many others don’t. I think this

This is my favorite novel, bar none, for two reasons.

The hyperbole surrounding Ellis is out of control; he is a flawed person who had legal-aged fans who he slept with. Some of them had career ambitions that he encouraged... until he didn’t. That’s a little gross and he’s definitely a lackluster sexter (though I’m guessing mine sound a bit more clever in my head too). He
