This is exactly my problem with Knights of Sidonia, I really like the hard sci-fi concept approach. And then it started in on the fan-service and turned into a Harem Anime. =(

I really wanted to like Knights of Sidonia, a good hard-sci fi approach to long term space travel and giant robots.

You may have just found out about it, but it’s not really new news, they reported on it four days ago when the information came out, and it’s not that big a deal it needs to be kept on the front page for four days.

Blizzard does tend to be like the “Apple” of videogame genre’s. They take a genre that can be fairly niche but popular, and make it incredibly polished and accessible to as many people as possible, hence their success.

It was inspired by Dune, but then contracted to be a Warhammer game until the licensing fell through. Hence the fantasy setting as opposed to Sci Fi.
