What about getting the mode where you secretly hack players from WD1? Might be in 2, but I've never played it. 

I think the issue more has to do with price. Wasn't it announced as a $70 game before changing to $20 shortly before launch? That probably turned away a ton of people from the start. Cars hitting each other inevitably makes people think Rocket League, which is f2p.

With Android you don't even have to write to a tag for Switch. Just need the phone.
