I wasn’t a fan of how outdated quests were when it came out on 360. For example, if you weren’t grouped with somebody, kills only counted for 1 person. Not sure if it was who got the last hit or did the most dmg. Modern MMOs give everyone credit.

I played through the whole game for the 1st time when it came out on 360. Aged fantastically. Blew my expectations out of the water.

Walmart had these for $75 several weeks ago. I almost bought it to mod other games until my friend pointed out that Asteroids does not use the same button layout as a fighting game. That was a long walk from the front of the store to the back.

LOTRO was amazing. I started when the game went f2p then stopped playing when I went to college. I ended up spending quite a bit of money on the game to support the devs, but 99% of the game could be unlocked for free via premium currency unlocked by completing achievements. I learned so much lore and it helped make

Having your own rules, limits you to playing with the same group of people. I think most people do that anyway, but having a universal rule set is nice for playing with others.

If you must die to progress, the community counts that as a scripted death. Dark Souls has one, but it doesn’t count as a hit
