I’ve got this on Xbox One. Kind of a bland Tetris game, but co-op is fun and new. The CPU versions of yourself and friends are interesting. That’s probably why you need Uplay. Why bother buying this version if you aren’t going to use the new features? Just play an older version that is cheaper.

Lag can happen quite often depending on the game you play. It is definitely not as rare as you're making it sound. Mortal Kombat X for example has very bad lag online. I don’t think dogs eat homework often unless you’re doing some kind of project with food.

Tell the publishers to get this BC on Xbox One. It is very fun, but I hate turning on my 360 to play it. My 360 is old and runs like shit. Takes 5-10 minutes to start games.
