Honestly they should have seen it coming. The Wii and DS have had falling sales for a while now. The fact it caught them off guard is complacency on their part.

The Vita and 3DS are marketed at people who want to play complex and relatively deep games on the go...

Actually everything I've seen has indicated that the 3DS is actually selling slowly compared to the original DS - the figure I've been seeing is that they didn't clear 1million unit sales until thirteen weeks, unlike the DS' four.

You can do it with the correct lens on any decent videocamera but most people, myself included, prefer to use a SLR setup for time lapse. Having everything moving just that little bit faster really does improve the effect.
