5* wyrmprint as the pity breaker was just the worst.  Won’t miss that at all!

They sort of have this, but it is very roundabout and costs a lot of rupies. With the addition of the void battle trades you can get 1 Damascus Ingot every 2 months. In effect you can convert Damascus Ingots into more Twinkling Sands by upgrading an existing 5* T3 weapon and then disassembling it.

I can recommend r/DragaliaLost, they have a daily question thread with links to a lot of helpful starting resources, and despite the thread generally being loaded with repeat questions from new players most of the time you can get an answer or two.

Being something of a fan I was watching news updates from Idea Factory and nabbed a Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 limited edition when they were released. I soon found out they decided to only make 1000 of them for North America, which was apparently a crazy lowball of the demand. I have a lot of

I do see Atelier Nelke as March 26th, but Atelier Lulua not until May 21st.

Vagabond is going to turn into Brave Fencer Musashi from 1998?  Time is a flat something something...

It’s basically my standard practice to wait 6 months to a year now anyway on most big name titles. In that time frame it will probably either a) be much cheaper b) have more content via DLC c) be less buggy / more stable than when it released d) any or all of the above.

“If you invest $100 and that allows you to sell enough copies to make $150, you make 50 bucks of profit. If you invest $10 and manage to sell enough copies to make $75 you still made more profit, even if the total income you brought in was less.”

Excellent points and an informative history lesson, but did you mean sordid?

I didn’t pick up Hollow Knight until late this year, and it blew me away from start to finish. It seems picking it up later was a good move too because they have released a bunch of free DLC since launch.

Valve counting to three does not compute = P

It’s an interesting consideration that for digital goods not only do the companies control whether or not the items can be traded, resold, etc like physical goods, but on top of that they can impose fees on all the trade/resell actions. This is something that typically never happens with physical goods. Once the

It’s probably half wanting to protect people, and half “if it’s gambling, we’re going to take our cut via taxes, licensing, etc”. And I’m being generous with that ratio of half and half = P

One counter here, and perhaps one that the manufacturers themselves use to avoid legal troubles - blind bags almost always have some kind of identifier on them to indicate what is inside, be it the barcode, a stamped serial number, or in the case of the lego mini figs, bump codes. So the consumer could in theory know

It’s a rough comparison to make imo. With CCGs you buy the deck, booster pack, or whatever, and end up with real physical objects. Maybe you got the one(s) you wanted, maybe not, but you could take those and trade or resell them if desired. If you really wanted one specific card you could hunt it down and buy it

I wonder why they opted to strip or heavily mute the blue highlighting on the letters for the final image. IMO it makes it pop even more. Maybe it was added to the model later?

Original Gameboy Tetris has always been my jam, does Tetris Effect have a mode that mimics this? (None of your fancy t spin infinite spin hard drop blah blah blah also uphills both ways in the snow).
