Except it wasn't feasible. The car was great as is. That's what you can't seem to grasp. A V8 would literally ruin this car. The V6 was chosen not because it was "good enough" but because it was the perfect match for the size, weight, and design of this car. So yes, the V6 was ideal.

We all go through this everytime someone tries to bring up the Prowler. At the time, Chrysler had NO V8's suitable for use in the prowler. The Magnum engines were garbage. Only suited for trucks and boats. Not sure what the obsession here is over that. Add on top of that, they didn't have enough room for a regular V8,

A little late, how about the catalytic converter. I'm no hippie but it is still stupidly torn out by people who think it robs them of significant hp.
