It’s funny you mention that. I have a background in dealer ops management before taking up a career in building software and interface experiences... with a couple OEMs as past clients, and one of them was a certain Detroit-based make. So yes, I do have an idea.

A prop rod doesn’t show signs of fatigue. It just works.

Simple, cheap, lightweight, reliable. Why complicate it?

Lighter, and doesn’t break?

this blog is wrong and the wheels are ugly and bad. thanks

Sssssweet!

Go buy a GT350 then. It comes exclusively with a manual. Or a Focus RS for the same reason. Or Mustang GT with a manual. Or buy either of the ST twins, they’re both manual-only.

Mediocre at what? They are probably the most usable vehicles for sale today, that’s why they are popular and maintain high resale regardless of gas prices.

This is to tell you all that I will not be posting “lovely lady” awards any longer.  I’ve been doing it for almost ten years and have decided to hang it up.

The Escape weighs essentially the same as an Impala or a Maxima, and a full ton less than a Suburban, Expedition or even a Tahoe. Your definition is “big SUV” is silly.

“These mustangs weren’t known for their reliability anyway”

It can’t. Unless you’re intentionally sandbagging the Mustang (as these testers were) the Mustang is a full second faster in the 1/4 mile.
The Kia is amazing but it isn’t even close to the Mustang in reality.

This is why Americans wonder why the rest of the world loves soccer.

This should just be titled “A List of Things About Other People’s Cars I Don’t Like Therefore They Shouldn’t Exist, Even if They Don’t Really Inconvenience Me All That Much. These, for the most part, aren’t even trends, just pet peeves that people get butt-hurt over.

Since we’re resorting to middle-school level retorts - does it bother you that the Mustang arrived first, is globally viewed as the true American sports car icon and that the Camaro has always been and always will be a lame ripoff?

It’s slower than a lot of other cars. Clearly buyers see more than just just another performance car when they buy it.
