You mean the truck that they can’t produce enough of to keep up with demand, at the moment? You mean, ignoring their obligations to their shareholders and the massive amount of money Ford has poured into R&D every year since 2005? They should just earn less when consumers are willing to pay more?

They would literally

That isn’t how a business works.

A slippery slope? A downward trajectory?

I think a kit car that you actually build yourself (like my brother is doing with a Shelby Cobra) is quite cool. You can look back at it in the parking lot knowing that you actually put the thing together. Paying someone else to make you look cool is where kit cars get lost on me. Also, the Shelby is the best one

All great pictures, but this one takes the cake for me

It’s the second coolest car of the last 20 years, after the Ford GT. FACT. Well, a highly subjective opinion. And that’s fact enough for me! :)

I’m having a nerdgasm over here. I have no problem wearing NASA shirts, let alone a very well executed themed mustang.

So, we’re sitting here, my bride and I; on the couch just hanging out while the two goober see call kids make a bunch of noise. I play this video and everyone goes silent and piles in to watch and listen. She says it’s the most beautiful sound she’s ever heard from a mechanical thing. It’s a living breathing thing...

Why are you hitting a curb wth your wheels? Maybe you shouldn’t be driving. 31+ yrs and I’ve never hit a curb. Would be the last thing I would be concerned about.

or just don’t hit curbs...or even scrape curbs.

I’ve had the please of meeting (for an autograph- not an actual meet) a few times now, and each time he is always just happy to be there, happy to interact with fans and happy to drive that car. He really is my favorite driver in Formula D, but to be fair, driving a Mustang was a plus :-)

I’d argue otherwise...

Second part of that sentence: “of the current Mustang lineup”

You neglected to mention the the Superformance GT40 is a "continuation" build, that is it is built as the original FAV builds were with a steel monocoque rather than a space frame as most replicas are.

I have wanted one of these so badly. If I had the money, I would have both a GT40 and Mk II built for me. Being a teenager in the 60s, Ford and Carroll Shelby made cars that were legendary even when they were racing. I still remember customizing Aurora road racing slot cars and making them like those raced by Shelby
