I think it is cool. I will applaud any automaker for making a hi-po version of almost anything. It has to be more than a badge though. A Chevy Malibu SS is not a high performance car. Or a Caravan R/T.

Yes. I saw it in Detroit when it won the Riddler. Some years we cannot tell who will win the award, but that year, it was clear. You could barely photograph the car as there was a large crowd at all times.

My 63 Fairlane is getting a proper toploader 4 speed to replace its C4 (yes, it is a C4, which was not available until 64, it is not original). I am pretty excited about that. I am still flirting with the idea of building up my 351w to put in there instead of the 289 or keep it for the 67 Mustang I am building.

All these people complaining it is no longer good off road. Pssh. This is good hot rodding. It isn’t about suspension flex or MPG, it is about building a hot rod.
I don’t know where I fall on NP or CP because this one-off stuff is so hard to value. I am sure there is more money in it than $52k.
