I appreciate you picking a profession that doesn't have the ability to hurt someone, but I was obviously talking about others that can... None the less, I get your point.

You missed my second post, it was a good joke about Florida. You can condemn cops that are doing that, certainly. Statistically speaking, these stories involve a percentage of cops that is hard to demonstrate without a decimal point though and some leading zeroes. I don't think a cop continuing to work, and do his

Also - Florida was a bad example. There's a better then average chance that he is actually a racist person, statistically speaking. You get my point though.

Blaming police officers because other bad police officers aren't fired when they're bad is awesome. I hope that goes well for you. I lost my first two sons due to a surgeon screwing up while delivering them. I don't now look at every surgeon like they're trying to kill me.... It's not the way the world works. As for

It likely would, if someone bothered to fight it (And if that's an accurate story).

To be fair, you're commenting on a post about the guy dying for not doing what he was told. Relatively speaking, I'd say he was "ok" the first time.. right?

Wait.... You guys spend your entire existence making fun of websites and newspapers for screwing up, and then you do it yourself? Shouldn't there be more public flogging?

He wasn't using his rights as a citizen, he was using his social status as a football player. I'm also not alluding legal experts, I'm alluding to the grand jury. As for the false equivalence, I stand by that. They both have the same right to tell each other to shut up.

That'd be the second step.

Hopefully Andrew Hawkins won't let his son play with a real looking toy gun, missing the only thing that distinguishes it as a toy to a passerby. That's probably the first step in avoiding what happened to Tamir.

I'd say the real reporters would be the ones that managed to show up for the QB answering questions. Mike Sando doesn't have telepathy.

To respond to both:

As he already asked, how long would you like the cops to wait when they arrive on a scene of an individual with a firearm (In a crowded area) that is now reaching for that gun? Apparently the time is a big deal to you, so what's the limit? How many mississippi's did that Cop need to rattle off before you were OK with

I think we disagree. Assuming that "justice" means something it doesn't, and thus using your status as a football player to manufacture pressure on something that legally doesn't justify pressure.. Seems to point to an ignorance of the law... and also, that's rather disrespectful if you're part of the group that he's

I don't believe anyone thinks that it is okay. However, the "justice" that he's wanting is not coming. The "justice" he wants places blame on someone who doesn't deserve it.

He's not demanding an apology because he thinks it's illegal. He's demanding an apology because he thinks it's disrespectful.. You know, the things that you apologize for.

They don't owe anyone an apology.... But the cops shot someone that was using a toy gun, where the only thing that distinguished it as a toy was missing. There's no justice coming, unless you want those things to be impossible to remove.. but I doubt the Cleveland PD has any hand in that.

I just want to be clear - The Bills absolutely saw the prone player, hence Percy not throwing it. The Vine shows it poorly, but there was Bills players that were directly running towards the guy on the ground. It was just a horrible play.

Maybe the power sliding into prayer threw them off?

For what it's worth, he absolutely switched tenses half way through it and was referring to how he will discipline his daughter as he grows. He wasn't saying he tries to avoid bruises on a 1-year-old.. He was saying he will try to avoid bruises on his daughter, as he disciplines her later in life.
