Nintendo is flat out trying to have its cake and eat it too. For years, selling a console at, or even below cost and then making a heavy margin on each game was what kept the industry afloat.

i got an ipad for christmas and i have an iphone 4 since launch, and i had an iphone 3g since fall 2008.
@TehBeardMan: at my previous job in a cubicle farm, a woman had some sort of back surgery and converted her cubicle to a standing up setup upon returning to work after. 18 months later, she still swore by it. the cubicles there, like most cubicles, would allow you to adjust the desk height very easily.
i wish i had this as an option, but i don't at my job. my wife went from a job sitting at a desk to standing on her feet running around all day, and in under 3 months, she's lost a ton of weight and her energy is through the roof. i like my job as a developer for the most part, but sitting in a desk immobile for…
I lived in the NYC metro area for a year and I hated it.
i read so much hatred for ATT on various tech sites, but I really wonder if this is nearly as big a problem as the internet makes it sound? It definitely seems the only complaints with ATT are huge cities and extremely remote areas. If that accounts for 15% of people, the reality of the situation is that 85% of…
@gthing: 6'3" checking in. and i'm not exactly thin either, so air travel sucks as far as i'm concerned.
@spearman: repeatedly
they have already tried to make minivans cooler - they're called "crossovers."
@Isetta: navigation is part of a $2300 package on a new mustang. shelling out $1000 for the ipad and installation supplies and taking the $1000 hit on value at resale still means he's ahead on the deal. and of course he has an ipad he can take out of the car too and use wherever.
I really don't get the whole blu ray/hd isn't worth it on a small tv thing.
considering this was originally a game for a full TV, fail on square-enix for not making this an iPad "hd" game.
My parents are both in their early 60's, and I have to say they could be a lot worse. My dad refuses to go near a computer entirely - he just flat out won't touch one. It's something he feels like he doesn't need in his life.
@acidrain69: i somehow missed your whole point initially about the weight of the keys. you're right, i do agree with you. it would be foolish to plug it into a usb port and let a bunch of dead weight hang from it. for a laptop, the keys are laying down, and my desktops both at home and work have usb ports near…
@acidrain69: i've got one of the lacie iamakey drives on my keys for well over 18 months. the little cover for the usb end broke in a few weeks, and the outside of the thing is completely scuffed up, but it still works flawlessly and it's definitely made to take the beating it gets in your pocket. i have a 4GB one…
i carry the usb key shown on my key ring. it's come in handy quite a few times.
people still use am/fm radio? make the antenna an option on the car, just like an ash tray or smoker's package.
