my setup. obviously I like this one :)

the price isn't bad, but i would have no interest in anything other than the engine, exhaust, etc.

for the people who suggested that I lost space, that's not really true actually.

This is my setup, so I'll comment on the paint. The light silver paint on the left side is Behr Silverscreen - with the old desk, I used it as a screen with an LCD projector. The rest of the room is the darker grey, which is Behr's Creek Bend. It looked great 7 years ago when I rolled it on the walls, but it looks

to me, one of the biggest losses if manuals go is flat out simplicity and cost.

first off, a remote start system in a manual transmission car is just asking for trouble. every "solution" i've seen to the problem is a terrible one.

i miss my first car, an 88 camaro sport coupe. i was told the kid junked it after a while because a weld in the subframe broke, and it wasn't fixable. sounded ridiculously sketchy. obviously that story wasn't accurate, because i saw it parked at a mechanic's shop nearby the house of the kid i sold it to years

i'm going to go with the quite literal "econo-box", the gen 1 Scion XB. those things were cheap, ridiculously roomy, and have quirky charm.

i like it a lot surprisingly. my primary complaint is that an RS package with looks like that really needs more balls than 138hp. 180 - 200 horsepower would be perfect

Ugh, i'm actually pissed reading this one, because i watched it, but i got so bored with it i was playing on my iphone.

Hands down 67- 70 were the best years, since Ford put in their A-game to respond to the Camaro, etc. If I were ever to own a Mustang, it would likely be from that era. big blocks, more agressive styling than the 64.5 - 66, and some true performance packages.

hands down a

Whn gas prices peaked, I looked into the only public transportation available in the area I live in - city buses. For my 5-6 mile commute each way, not only would it take an hour each way, it was actually more expensive than the gas and insurance on my daily driver combined #porsche911

How about ridiculously over-weight cars? Most every new vehicle coming out now weighs substantially more than its previous generation counterpart. If the automakers are genuinely serious about gas mileage, why not start with one of the simplest solutions?

@che-che: is that from Tango and Cash? awesome #qotd

you need something big and tough, that will suck up the bumps driving across the barren wasteland. but you also need something that you can fit a monstrous reserve gas tank in the trunk, and that gets respectable fuel mileage. and of course it needs to be fast enough to outrun pirates and the people you steal from.

not thrilled with 2 issues I have -

This question can be interpreted in two ways

it will be a couple years yet, but a lightly used 08-up cadillac STS or CTS with the 3.6 SIDI engine, and possibly AWD is the front runner.
