Not saying that the complaints weren’t *valid*, but the fact that they suddenly mattered when they never had before makes me question what was it about HRC…
The co-pay on one of my meds went up to $80/mo this year... The pharmacist looked like he was waiting for me to yell at him. I’d be happy to pay $100/mo if it actually went to healthcare for people who need it instead of increasing profit margins.

The public got played, but Dems didn’t. They made an incremental improvement that could be approved, designed to get us to the next incremental improvement. Their flaw was expecting voters to understand that and support them.
even VAWA is more complicated than people make it out to be, especially from a legal professional’s perspective. I may disagree with the people who voted against it, but at least if they have an understandable logic to their position I can accept that they’re human.
