Idk, drastically changing the combat system after damn near a dozen titles and 15 years seems like something existing fans could legitimately gripe over if they’re not fans of turn based games.

So uh, where’s the guy who accused me of manhandling my ps4 controllers because there was “no possible way” they were defective? Aight.

This seems to be an increasingly frustrating problem with modern games. The more pixels devs can push, the more they go for more “photorealistic” and detailed environments and leave “atmosphere" in the dust. Another great example would be the original CoD4 Remaster (not CoD 2019). Yes, everything was now in 4k with

This right here. There are games that I probably would have enjoyed significantly more if I knew to just run through the narrative instead of doing literally every side quest (RDR2) or hitting max level when it doesn't matter in the end anyway (FFXV).

My experience is if you "secure" the console, the violent yanking of a dog running though will damage the port of either the system or the controller.  Neither is good. Both are expensive to fix.

This. I have a house full of dogs. Cords aren't an option. Ever.

Same thing for my Elite 2 Controller. USB C and it came with a A to C cable. I use it for pc, so i just use my C to C cable to plug it in the motherboard.

TL:DR - SSD powered console with Air Cooling doesn’t require a specific orientation. News at 11:00.

Until you play Gears 6: Guardians and you play as those 3 no name characters in all but 3 of the missions where you'll play as Kait but it won't matter in the end anyway. No I'm not bitter about Halo 5, why do you ask?

It feels like I’m playing an old Rare(tm) game and I’m loving it. Everything feels so polished, from the lively sound design to the artfully designed menu and icons, to the perfectly anti-aliased textures; it just feels finished, which is rare (heh) these days. The combat just feels perfect and the narration banter is

I’m really considering cancelling my pc games pass. With the price going up, and the relative raw deal we get compared to console players, it doesn’t feel worth it anymore. I was honestly holding on to try Destiny 2's new expansion, but then they delayed the games pass release (0n pc only) to late next year.

I've been griping with the weapons since they phased out elemental primaries. Like, we're supposedly playing an RPG with 3 (at the time) elemental types; the fact that we can't equip all 3 at the same time is baffling to me.  The gameplay felt GREAT when you could just switch to what you needed on the fly.  The

Next holiday season, I'd say.

You might be able to do 1440p 120hz. That’s the limit for hdmi 2.0 (and my few year old samsung). I’ve been using that setting on my One X for awhile to get more stable framerates.

Did you... did you beat the game? Because without giving away too much, the main character is only the person (they) are because of a fully sanctioned operation that manipulated them (to put it lightly). The multiple endings all at least minimally convey the ugliness of the US Government’s actions in service of “the

Now playing

With all the Advanced Settings on, all sliders to maximum(distance, shadows, variety), and pcss shadows, I get 55-80 fps on Ultrawide 1440p. With an i9 and a RTX 3090. And I’m only using the smaa+TAA combo, MSAA 8x takes 20+ fps off the top. Current consoles seem to want to target 4k60 at minimum. It isn’t happening

They didn't update the single player with the new casino, so probably not.

As someone who played it on pc, Ultra settings with extended distance/shadow sliders all the way up is gonna take another console generation to pull off. PS5+ and all.

The Gorillaz music video from a couple days ago blew the lid on this before it got taken down.
