Had this happen some years back when I pre-ordered a brand new (at the time) Galaxy S7 directly from Samsung. At the same time I pre-Ordered a new Mophie juice pack/case from Amazon that was set to arrive at the release date of the phone. On the day the case was supposed to arrive (these were $100+ at the time mind

Copying this here because people can’t scroll down apparently:

For Destiny 2, yes. But that’s not what I mean. The grimoire in this game is like reading the Star Wars Encyclopedia. It isn’t presented as story or narrative, just additional information completely disconnected from the big picture. Cutscenes don’t show it. Characters don’t talk about it. The in game world doesn’t

We’ve been dealing with Destiny’s “story”/lore since 2014. To quote Shakespeare, it is “...a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing.”  Fuck the grimoire.  If it’s not in the game, it doesn’t count.

While HZD definitely didn’t sell poorly, BotW sold twice as much to date. It’s still a valid concern, and odd that their launches would align again.

One thing missing is Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode, which won’t be included in the Legendary Edition...”

Considering all the game delays recently, that sounds like a pretty smart decision. Still picking my ps5 up on the 12th, but it doesn’t feel like a “must-have” item yet, especially with a sturdy gaming pc already in my room.

Probably a dumb question, but does the PS5 dashboard have ads like the ps4? Beyond the fact it slowed loading significantly, it just felt... off. After paying $400 for the system, $60 a year for plus, and $60 per game, they still found the need to stuff in ads and tiles for stuff I didn’t ask for.

They really don't want anyone buying a Series X in 2020, do they?

Yeah, that’s not a universal experience unfortunately.  After using the link in my reservation email, and after 3 transfers to different customer service departments, I was told that my Best Buy was not doing early appointments, or PS5 appointments at all actually.  Back to just showing up at 9:00 AM I guess.

Sony doesn’t accept P.O. Boxes that they know are P.O. boxes. I used to have a P.O. box and the owner of the place just told me to have stuff shipped to the business’ address, and he would just put it in my box anyway. Worked every time, I’m sure the botters are doing something similar.

Yeah, now the shows just take a break for like 8 months. It’s kinda weird to know anyone growing up with anime now doesn’t have a show that’s just “on” nonstop for years of their life.

^^^This. Though I wish they would’ve cut the Buu Arc down a bit more. And not messed with the color and made that arc widescreen -_____-

Now playing

I’m thinking it’s a very poor taste reference to this:

I’m feeling this too. I finally stepped away from loot shooters a few months ago. When I went to look for new games to fill the void I was sorely disappointed. There’s not much “new” out there. Like you said, nobody want to take the financial risk to reinvent the experience anymore. All this extra technical

This. This this this this this. A few months after closing the door on my last loot shooter/grind factory (Destiny 2) I wonder why I even bothered playing as long as I did. Destiny 1+2, The Division 1+2, Borderlands 1+2+3, GTAO, etc, etc, etc. It’s actually irritating how much of my life I wasted on those games in

Same, but for the 3090 FE. A discord I was in had the direct to checkout link and I already set my payment/shipment info up the day before. Managed to get through before the site inevitably crashed. We’re lucky though, I’ve seen plenty of order cancellations from every retailer already.

Anyone else remember the Super Mario Bros section under “Collections” of Newgrounds from about 12-15 years ago? I won’t say any specifics but if y’all know, y’all know....

I felt the same way watching Iron Man’s gameplay. I mained a Storm Javelin, really loved being able to hit anything I could see on screen from anywhere. The mechanics in SE’s Avengers seem clunky and disappointing compared to Anthem's. Really would have appreciated (and paid for!) more campaign content in that game.
