Apparently the fact that Fortnite has team game modes has escaped you. Shotgun rushing is absolutely not viable when you have a teammate in the trees on both sides watching. There’s much more position fortification, strategic formations and baiting, and long range firefights.

Some of them do. There was literally a point in the base game where a character leaves the party for hours for no logical reason. It was obvious why, and a dlc now fits in there.

That is in no way shape or form acceptable. In order for FFXV to make any sense, you have to watch Kingsglaive and Brotherhood, the former of which costs extra money (don’t forget the cut story dlc!) So now you’re likely at $75+ for an experience that still isn’t complete. I can’t justify that.

I don’t know about that. I play on pc, and shotguns aren’t meta here, mouse aiming is too good to let someone get that close to you. Building on pc is also lightning fast (and I have the presets mapped to my Naga numpad), which adds a lot to group firefights and engagements.

If you think the building mechanic is garbage then you can’t build. Git gud, and let people enjoy what they like.
