For some reason I LOVE the little feet cutouts.

I’m not sure what scares me more. The aerodynamics of a motorcycle with little cutouts for your feet. Or that it did that speed with almost no sound.. just a little gear whine.

I don’t agree about the Lincoln above feeling like a tractor. In my opinion, it was as smooth as silk on the interstate, and that modular V8 had plenty of power to push its aerodynamic shape at triple digit speeds all day long. The Lexus actually left me wanting. Always felt like a tarted up Toyota to me. Which is what

I don’t want one of these, but I would love to see one driving around. Especially if you could see somebody who was clearly a chauffeur in the driver’s seat, and a really dark tint in the rear. What kind of person would be back there?

This is filling a gap in the marketplace abandoned by Cadillac and Lincoln. Some people just want a big ole highway cruiser. And they want it to be well appointed, and muscular. Kind of even looks a little like an old 90's Lincoln too.

This.

People simply do not get how artificial markets are made and how most markets are manipulated and gamed.

Sure, and a lot of those people ended up volunteering for the Union and should be commended. West Virginia even seceded from Virginia to remain! But the state of NC itself seceded and joined the Confederacy, so being sort of last doesn’t mean much.

You are assuming that this transaction is between two strangers. It is most likely a “fake” transaction between two people operating from the same source of funds with the desired outcome of getting gullible people to write articles about it and generate interest for others to start thinking that these kinds of

There was another commenter talking about Veblen Goods above. That’s the world you are talking about.  The ethical dilemma this creates for people who are religiously capitalistic is rarely appreciated though.  Thanks for bringing it up.

The issue was mostly the independent Appalachians, who didn’t really have much in common with the planters who dominated politics in a large swath of the greater South.  Thus, many areas of Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina were actively hostile to the Confederacy.

That’s mostly correct. There are various models of viral virulence though. Here is a nice primer on the subject from Nature magazine:

A lot of people say money laundering, scam, etc.

Yes.  I’m going there. Rock on , Torch.

Since the thoretical function of currency, is to represent an individual’s time/labor, spending currency on something that took a substantial amount of time/labor to produce is rational.

I can’t wrap my head around spending my hard-earned dollars on something that only exists virtually

Despite it’s reasonably poor condition, the rarity of this model makes this a NP. However, that’s ONLY for someone with a Saab fetish, and a desire to do unspeakable contortions and arcane repair procedures. Because this vehicle is perhaps one of the most frustrating to work on of anything this side of a rusty Porsche

Riiiiight... so get rid of the smaller, safer, more fuel efficient cars, for the larger, less safe, less fuel efficient cars.

Got it.

Tell about more of your big brain ideas.

That’s an extremely stupid suggestion.

Not realizing that your decisions are unethical is not a defense.
