Looks comfy.  I’d love that at the beach.

I am a big supporter of EVs. I just do not see them being viable for any sort of long towing or hauling for quite a long time.

Agree. If I were going to do trailer camping, I’d get a Pro-EV electric camper with 3.5 kW solar panels, and a 57.6 kW battery pack, with a Ford F-150 hybrid sporting the 7.2 kW generator package. That way, you could move full electric if needed/wanted for short distances, and still have appliances available at the

As others have mentioned, we have to be thankful that there were no kids on that bus today. And also that the bus driver was able to exit the vehicle safely.

Great article. I think one of the reasons these weasely constructions are becoming more noticeable, is that communications now are more frequently electronic written notifications, rather than in-person at meetings.

All that wealth and talent from other places, certainly has been a benefit to BC, and the Canadian nation as a whole. But every time I go through there (I used to have to do that a lot when I lived in Asia) I am struck by how different the metro of Vancouver is culturally, to the flavor of central Canada, or other

Thanks for your observations.  Please see my response to ChrisMD123.

The Macau Grand Prix has always been a questionable racing course. One of the most dangerous in the world. Hemmed in on all sides, it’s as unforgiving as The Isle of Man TT motorcycle course.

What’s the situation with the ferries?  It seems like critical freight and such could be brought in that way, until the train and highway connections are resumed.

I guess now is the future.

Vancouver cut off from the rest of Canada?

I had a geology course in first year undergrad, in which the professor would always use Vancouver as a case study for future disasters. He would talk about the massive fault line that hasn’t released stress in centuries, about the potential for tsunamis from that eventual earthquake, about fires, etc. The fact that

300 whole horsepowers. Wow. So a little less than a 2022 Golf R.

Sort of a ‘don’t be that guy’ approach. Ha!

True. We can easily arrange it so that everyone on Earth can be fed now, but we don’t. I think technically, we could have done it since about 1972, if I recall the data from an old book back then called ‘Bread For The World’.

It depends. As the anthropologist Claude Levi-Strauss notes in his book, “The Raw and the Cooked”, there are religious prescriptions and proscriptions regarding what is considered ‘food’, because there is a cultural dichotomy in what is appropriate and inappropriate consumption, both in amount, and in category.

Interestingly, most religions have a warning against what I here refer to as ‘gluttony’, although they wouldn’t all call it ‘sin’ exactly, as that concept is particular to the Abrahamic faiths. Islam calls it out directly:

“I can eat a lot—is that a fault?”

The Big 3 already have their fanbases, and those that want a full-size truck that ISN’T American are way more loyal and invested in Toyota than Nissan.

Plus, the new Titan always had awkward styling and it never really shook the perception of being a problem vehicle that the original Titan had.

Very creative! I just use the dock myself though.
