“Track left, track left, enhance!”
“Track left, track left, enhance!”
I hadn’t heard of this cartoon until I saw this video on Reddit last night, so I read through the comments on Reddit and did some Googling.
What in particular did you find racist about it?
Conveying meaning using allegories or memes is certainly not a new concept, right? Pre-21st Century (that feels weird to write...) writing has examples of this such as a “pyrrhic victory”, an event being someone’s “Waterloo”. It’s really a question of extent.
I assume that even though the base is active, the hanger itself is not in a heavily trafficked area as it is abandoned.
This confused me as well. Click on the picture in the article to bring up the Twitter page, and then click on the text there and it will show you the full text.
Is the procedure reversible? Because I’ve heard that once you go black, you never go back...
“Where are we going to find trained pilots to fly these ships at such short notice?”
at one point the younger one broke into tears and accused me of treating them like slaves (he’s six), which occasioned a short and stern conversation.
Wow...Daniel Craig is sporting massive wood in that photo.
I’m with you - this trailer has me really looking forward to this episode, and Maul’s tortured cry of “Kenobi!” at the end does a great job of expressing how he has been driven to the brink of despair and madness by the things that have happened to him.
Maybe they replaced the chick fight trope with the “enemies have to band together to break out of prison” trope? Which would be a bad move, because this movie definitely needs both.
I can’t believe I’m getting in to this discussion, but wouldn’t he just end up change the facing of the torpedo, and not the direction of motion?
I’m late to the party, but here you go:
This is for you, then.
Well, not on the side of the Rebellion, but there’s a slim chance he was in one of the Tie fighters or Star Destroyers, right?
They tried that, but it would only go off once a month.
No need to force yourself to drink all of the soup if you don’t want to / can’t. If it is a really good soup then I can and will drink it all, otherwise, I’ll leave it.
Yes. I just finished reading “Rebel Dawn (Star Wars: The Han Solo Trilogy #3)” and...***SPOILER ALERT***
Trainwreck? That’s a bit harsh. It’s easily one of my favourite shows on TV now. It maintains a good balance between humor and serious storylines, and apart from being a little slow to reveal the main arc (which I don’t mind as I like slow-burns) I think it’s doing a good job of fleshing out the three main characters.
