That was really funny - the "Sinead O'conner" and "Samuel L. Jackson" credits at the end really tie it together.
Given how complicated this issue seems, I am not sure whether to encourage discourage this question.
I agree - Icarus is an example of Greek mythology that is very definitely about hubris, but even that is not necessarily anti-science.
Replying to promote this rather clear explanation that answer my question below (or above, depending upon how this threading is working).
I'm no grammar expert, but "who" sounds more correct - or at least it does right now, you would probably get a different answer from me tomorrow. Couldn't it be "from a group of (fans who crashed)"? Does it matter if the fans crashed individually or in a group?
I know a lot of people don't like the way he died - saying it was undignified - but I felt it help underscore how dangerous a situation they were in. You don't take one on at close range, and they did not have time to even grieve his death - Sarah just takes his gun and ID and has to make John move on.

Only problem is that after a few successful hits it becomes so blunt and gunked up with blood that it is only useable as a club.
Normally I would be pessimistic - how can you top creating a new cinematic look and genre like the original did? However, all the photos and videos I have seen for Prometheus have been visually stunning, so I have hope for this.
You are probably not seeing your posts because you are a new commenter and they are "pink" - i.e. unapproved until a starred commenter responds or promotes them.
Either that, or a cheap SyFy (is that redudant?) movie based on this premise.
Thanks for the link, it's nice to see the actual artist getting involved in the discussion.
Yes...very clever.
That reminds me - a couple of weeks back I get up in the morning to find half a watermelon on the living room floor and one of my dogs looking very suspicious. Apparently it had rolled it off the low table it was on and very neatly eaten half of it, rind and all. My wife wanted to know why it had not eaten the…
