"JetSki Wanter" was a magazine that Homer just happened to be reading in the kitchen in one of the early scenes. I can't recall any other reference to it, and think Whitney perhaps did not actually see this episode, or alternatively, like you was drinking...

Interesting - that book title was actually on one of the stands a the book exhibition they go to in the episode. I did not realize it was for a real book.

I don't drink coffee at all - like never - I just wanted to drop in to say that I love the "Three Hundred Big Boys" episode of Futurama that the main photo is taken from. That moment when he drinks the 100th cup of coffee and time slows down is brilliant.

The average time for publication was eight to twelve years.

That's what they said about walking in to Mordor, and look how wrong they were about that!

To each his own. I'm enjoying the Krell storyline because it is continuing this season's theme of fleshing out the clones as more solid characters, rather than just cannon-fodder (ironically enough, by having Krell treat them as cannon-fodder), and it's also a much darker and serious storyline.

I totally agree with that sentiment. I'm just hoping that the conclusion holds up to the expectations they have been building up.

That video makes me want to go back and replay the original Unreal. Remember when it was a great story-driven single player game?

Dammit. Thanks for the brainworm. BTW, I like the way the music from the video clip matches perfectly with the animated GIF you posted above.

Sure, I see how it is meant to be a big ponytail, but with the way it is around her neck and she keeps on holding the end up in the air it looks to me like she is hanging herself - especially where it is shown in the video clip.

Right. He didn't even wait for oldsters like me to come along and point out that when Battle Royale came out lots of people were saying it was just a ripoff / poor copy of either "The Running Man" or "Lord of the Flies".

That is incredibly mesmerizing - what is it from? I get the feeling its from a Stargate: SG1 episode, but can't quite put my finger on it.

Why is the woman in the red hat hanging herself? Am I missing something here?

Now playing

Ditto. I went Googling for the funny video of Alison Brie rapping, but came across this instead. Alison comes across as a very smart and confident woman who does comedy well - who says women can't be funny?

True, that part of his role is significant to the movie, but his overall on-screen time was still very short and insignificant. All he got to do was be the asshole-ish neighbor and then just happened to catch the virus and spread it worldwide.

What else has he been on recently? I was initial pleasantly surprised to see him in the recent "Planet of the Apes" remake, but then saddened that his role was so small and one-dimensional.

Stop and think? Never! (Comment too short to reply? Who knows...)

Man, that guys is talented - assuming that is his real voice making both the raptors sounds and especially the Gollum voice...

Actually, I was just thinking that "Hell Squatting Peak" looks like one of the challenges on the "Survivor" reality TV series.

You're hearted for that level-headed and appropriate comment. That is the true Jedi way of handling flamers.
