You are taking an overly simplistic view of things, and trying to dismiss my argument by simply calling it "political correctness" is a pretty weak response.

I agree, women in general are not as physically strong as men, so I don't think it is sexist to say so. However, that is not what he said, and he also was not saying that anyone will benefit from this. He made a statement specifically singling out women as the ones who will benefit from this, and that more than

I think that was what impressed me the most as well. I have been underwhelmed by most other robots or similar technology because they are either overly specialized - think the type of bomb squad robots which are basically just a primitive arm on tractor treads - or not close to practical application - for example the

I thought I misheard that the first time through, so went back and listened to it again. It's the kind of subtle sexist attitude that women are weaker than men, therefore can't do work requiring strength.

Even if the exact mechanism linking cause and effect is not know, if the conditions under which your will is being fulfilled are replicable that "force" is therefore predictable and can be studied in a scientific manner.

Dammit, I'm already double-booked for this today, so it looks like my third appearance at this event will have to be postponed.

Oh, goodie! A semantic argument to fill my lunchtime.

Damn that Kraken and the hijinks he gets up to!

If it really was Occam's Razor, wouldn't they take away a blade every year?

How did he post a year old comment to an article that was just posted today?!

Oops...my mistake. Does this mean I don't get in to Harvard or a Russian university?

If the problems were given to all students and graded indiscriminately, then you would be correct, but the problem was that these problems were not given to all students, only the "undesirable" ones.

I don't know if anyone else caught it, but near the end of the episode there is a scene with Marshall at his company party and in the background the other employees are dancing to the Ewok music from the end of "Return of the Jedi" - you can hear the lyrics "nub nub" or "yub jub" or whatever it is.

Help!? You bastard, that's like giving opium to a crack addict. He's doomed for sure now!

Just finished watching that episode - that was a funny scene and this season is starting off strong.

If the wolf pack is of size n, then hopefully at least n-4 wolves will also be just watching along with you. Don't forget to bring snacks for at least n-4 wolves.

What I take from this article is that no matter how big the pack, I will only have to worry about punching at most four wolves, but they will be the most motivated wolves of the pack.

I thought that the room being #11, plus the Doctor's reaction - "of course, it's you" - suggested that the room contained the Doctor himself, as the Doctor's greatest fear is what damage he does to the people around him. That would seem to fit with the overall message that is being repeated about how dangerous the
