@countjackula: Hey, I had that old A-10 flight simulator. I couldn't fly for nuts, but it sure was fun.

@mtfmuffins: And like the little buggers climbing all over your roof at night. I lived in the suburbs in Australia, but had friends from more rural areas who had corrugated iron roofs, and they did not consider them cute.
@foxh8er: Perhaps because they are talking about the best of 2010? From the first paragraph "2010 was a great year for people who take their playtime seriously".
@Starlionblue: But, if you could build an environment that is self-sustaining enough that it could survive the decades or centuries required to reach other stars, doesn't that eliminate the need to go?
@trunkenmath: Thanks for that information - I will never fly in to Frankfurt now.
@BMRFILE: One important point to put this in context is the fact that this footage is Northern Japan - deep snow country where they get this much snow every Winter, and therefore are very well prepared.
@Altima NEO: Oh, OK. My mistake. Carry on then.
@verdegrrl: I never encounter snow unless I go up to Tahoe for skiing - which would be at most a couple of times a year if I was actually comfortable driving in those conditions.
@Altima NEO: It is the middle of Winter there, and it gets very cold in Tokyo, give them a break.
@Beardstorming: Australia and Japan also drive on the left. I don't know about the UK driving test, but as an Australian in Japan I could just take the written exam and get a license, as opposed to the poor Americans (and others) who had to go through the ridiculous Japanese driving test.
@verdegrrl: Any recommendations on a good set of chains for a 2-wheel drive RAV4? I got a set of traction cables a couple of years back, but the one time I used them they gave virtually no traction.
@rotaryfreakjoe: Actually, driving a Ferrari on the moon sounds pretty awesome - but, seriously, I live in the Castro Valley area of East Bay California and snow tires don't make sense with the weather conditions.
@25toLife: Yes, that three-parter did not have any really big laugh-out-loud moments for me, but was great for the subtle references.
@NevilClavain: That argument seems to be raising the bar a bit too high - under that assumption different aliens should never be able to communicate with each other.
@RtFusion: I can understand why that lady caught your eye, but that is the main cause of confusion for you in this movie?
Why does Star Wars get a bad mark for "easy communication with aliens"? One of the main characters (C3PO) was a high-tech translator.
@Dr Emilio Lizardo: They may be inferior, but at least we are safe in the knowledge that our mass-produced, factory-made piñata will never have a soul.
They create an idol that has to remain undisturbed, and they make it in to a piñata? I think they did not think their plan through.
