Each character has their own tutorial, too, which is pretty useful to get a basic feel for everyone. I’m basically a semi-button masher, myself. I also don’t play fighting games online really, just against AI or friends locally. But really, tutorials really should help.

It’s a very cool game - some of the writing isn’t the best, but it’s pretty unique in a lot of ways and depending on how much it costs, I’d say it’s definitely worth it.

The farthest I’ve gotten in the main quest is going to Aya and recruiting Jaal. I have Eos at 100% and Voeld at close to 50%. The environmental stuff has only *really* factored in to anything I’ve done at the very beginning before you go to the first Remnant vault and clear the bad radiation. The cold on Voeld (heh)…

The game is extremely open. Like, giant open planets to explore. Also open in terms of power/weapon customization.  I’m having a blast. It’s been a while since I’ve played the original ME, but it is way more open than 2, which I loved, but is pretty closed off really.
