Sort of related to the topic, I just finally finished the 3 main campaigns of RE6, and I feel it's a pretty solid game. It's not perfect, but I don't know if it deserves such a bad rap. I honestly really enjoyed the hell out of Chris and Leon's campaigns.

Well, I'm also basing things off the comic as well. Getting bitten is a death sentence, period. When the outbreak started, there were no already rotted zombies, so perfectly healthy people were dying and turning from freshly-turned zombie bites (based on presumptions and educated guesses) so the infection theory

The problem I have with this explanation is that a bite from a freshly turned zombie would still kill, despite their mouth being no more festering and rotting than a few minutes ago when they were still alive, and treating a bite wound with antibiotics or anything that would treat any other infection would not help.

I'm with you. How people could view him as a sympathetic character, or even as "not evil" if not sympathetic, is beyond me.

Yeah, I was going to bring this up too, because with all the blood spattering that goes on, somebody somewhere has gotten some zombie juice in their mouth or eyes and not turned.

Yeah, and not to mention that "I force myself to look at them to remind myself of the horrors I will face outside" was an excuse he told to Andrea so she wouldn't realize what creep he is (also, Andrea is an idiot. I hate her portrayal on the show. She was my favorite in the comic, here she is terrible). His zombie

"• As awesome as Glen's pulling out the zombie femur to use as a shiv was, I couldn't help but think "man, if he has any open wounds on his hand, he is fucked."

I want to visit this alternate universe.

Yep, really. Don't get me wrong, as I said, I think McKellen is great, he's brilliant as Gandalf for instance, but I don't really think he fit Magneto. Magneto always exudes power and vitality, despite his age, in the comics. He could be physically threatening even when not using his abilities. But to me, in the

I think Ian McKellen is a fantastic actor, but I've never liked him as Magneto. I'll deal with it somehow, though it might be more difficult now that Fassbender really stole the show in XMFC.

Dude, it's creepily perfect. It has me questioning Ledger's death, it's so spot on. Down to the hair and forehead wrinkles. Chills.

Some artists that are at the top of my list include:

This is really encouraging. I think I might have to plow through season 2 once I'm finished catching up on Person of Interest.

Thanks, that was very helpful.

See, after seeing Game of Thrones and it's near perfect adaptation with great casting, extreme faithfulness to the source material (at least the first season, I haven't read the second book yet, so I don't know how close season two stuck to the material), I'm longing even more for a Walking Dead show that follows the

Michonne finally showing up is another reason I'm contemplating giving it another shot.

As someone who loves the comics, I gave the first season a shot, but was extremely disappointed. So much so that I've grown to resent the show and have not even bothered to give the second season a chance. The things I was most disappointed with dealt mostly with casting/acting. In the comics, Andrea is my favorite

In the rifftrax (downloadable commentary riffs on movies from some of the MST3k guys...if you aren't familiar with rifftrax, you should totally check out it out at rifftrax.com) for the Twilight movies (the only way Twilight movies are watchable), the guys refer to Kristen Stewart's dad as "Mustache Dad." It's really

On the subject of Mustache Dad, how widely known/used is that nickname? I've been using it for quite a while now, ever since the rifftrax, and I've referred to him as Mustache Dad when talking about Revolution and people are like, "Mustache Dad? Who's that?" I love that it seems to be catching on though.

I hate Twilight, but I love Mustache Dad. Mustache Dad is great on Revolution.
