I know nothing of New Zealand law, but I'm guessing the jail time is the result of the threats and not the photos?

I always said that it was Verizon's idiotic plan pricing that killed the Kin.

@Obsidian: I was going to comment, but you've already said it all.

@NorCalAngler: We've always called that "takin' the grenade for your buddy".

@kagekiri: I think you misunderstood my point regarding aiming and shooting. The way I see it is that you'd still use the thumb sticks and trigger to move, aim and fire. The gestures would be there just to trigger various functions, not for controlling movement and aiming.

@kagekiri: Any gestures you’d be using would have to make game play sense.

@PajamaSam: I agree with you there. That's why I said "passable".

@Robotronic: Snarky, but very funny. Well done.

I see a lot of the supposed "hardcore" heapin’ hate on the Kinect.

@Billybird: Your usage of the word "wiener" in that context amuses me.... chuckle.

Obviously false. There’s no structure on Earth that could contain those two egos simultaniously.

I don't think I like the Chilean miners anymore now that they're all mainstream. I liked 'em better when they were underground.

@John H. Meyer: Windows Phone offers a light and dark theme. Most apps created with the SDK will participate in theming.

This just pisses me off.

@Canon7D-Fanboy: I don't think it's a stretch at all. The Kin was an interesting device aimed at a very specific market, young feature phone buyers. Verizon decided to price its plans as if it were a full-on smartphone; which it obviously was not.

Bobby Kotick learns about real gameplay...

@Canon7D-Fanboy: Or perhaps they're being punished by Microsoft since it was partially their inane plan pricing that sank the Kin.
