I really hope that someone at Apple quietly has the passion and commitment to the brand's identity in upper management ready to take on this roll. Balmer has been a near disaster for M$ and Jobs needs a proper successor.

This is exactly why I am not getting an Android phone. No Nexus S on VZW but I can get an iPhone, always have the latest version of iOS, and its arguably easier to hack.
